The fact that so many entries build upon 0079 is a testament to how good it is, so why should watching a good show be treated like a chore.Besides which, there's no shortage of mecha shows out there that would scratch any itch you might have without being a part of a multi-decade saga. I have decided to start work on a large scale patch for Gihrens Ambition/Greed that would adjust numerous values in the game to bring it closer to the gameplay balance seen in older titles. Originally I had intended to just make the this for myself but decided to consult with all of you since there used to be constant threads around here on the game. [Planned purpose of the patch]:To give weaker craft in the game much larger viability by increasing Mobile Suit production times and giving adjustments to certain vehicles like the Type-61 and Ball to be much more practical for development. Planned adjustments include the following.>All Mobile Suits will have a minimum 2-turn production time. Units like the Galbaldy Alpha and Alex would be increased to 4 turns. >Type-61 will have its ranged increased to 2 to keep it in line with its long range depictions from IGLOO and how it was in the PS2 entry>Other long range craft will also receive range adjustments like the sniper-types>Certain Mobile Suits that had been relegated to being 1-stack units will be adjusted to 3-stack such as Gyan Cannon and Gelgoog CannonInitial plans are just for the One Year War portion of the game. I do plan to expand the project to all of the periods for the game but wanted to ask if those on /m/ would be willing to give their own input. To those who understand the Memory Viewer in PPSSPP for creating cheats I would appreciate your help as well. I've mapped out almost every key value I would want to adjust but am not the best with writing them into CWcheat format. If push comes to shove that I can't figure out how to apply them as cheats to be toggled I'll just release a modified Save State with the factors already applied for all of you to play with the adjustments that way.
