    >convert your raster created art

illustrator has it's own workflow, unfortunately adobe mothballed freehand rather than picking the better tools from the corpse and integrating them but yeah, learn to fucking vector properly or shut up.
    >>
    >>8067604
    >learn to bezier you fucking dumb fuck
Takes too much time, when the converting tool gets you pretty good results, and you can edit the vectorized result too.
    >>
    >>8067604
I do like Bezier. I'm coming at all this with CAD experience and it has an excellent fit point tool that is similar to Bezier but with more precise editing possibilities. With that, editing a segment of a line only edits that segment whereas editing a segment of a line drawn with the Bezier tool will usually affect the previous one too in order to satisfy whatever internal math it's using to draw its curves. I would just use CAD to draw but it's really not made for art at all.

its a pinup of princess peach its a miracle they haven't been sued yet. Fair use generally gets murky when dealing with commercial work (like a 5k commission).
    >>
    >>8072770
Its a sample. You're not there to commission a sega character you're there to ask for whatever you as a client wants

using princess peach to advertise your near industry rates commission art business is probably not smart.

The general thread for Manga / manga-styled comic-making, manga-style illustration and related comic work. That said, everyone is welcome here.

Support each other and talk about your work or the work of others that excites you. Inking, character design, paneling / layout, writing, planning, and other discussions are all welcome.
Post resources, questions, in-progress pages, breakdowns of other works, etc. If a work is not yours, credit the maker (unless it's fucking obvious like a full page of One Piece or something).
Thanks to everyone for making /mmg/ a level-headed and helpful place. Remember, drawing and making comics and manga are difficult endeavors, and we're all in this struggle together.

In order to have this one work you gotta darken the shadows of the piece in order to make the light source of the lantern stand out. An easy way to fuck around with that is duplicating the colors in a seperate layer, add like a Multiply effect to that layer, and use a soft eraser on that layer to erase away the parts of the piece that you want brighter
And if you want this piece to work >>8072768 you gotta integrate the girl into the stained glass more. That would require some more effort but the most easiest way is just making the girls outline THICK, something like pic related. I would also axe the stain glass having the name on it and really focus in on the ribbon being where you display the title. Give more attention to the text there and enlarge the ribbon.
I think I would need to see those improvements in order to judge more properly, but if you wanna print this is a book to sell then the first one with the lantern is the easy choice cause its telling a snippet of a story that you got goin on. The second one even if you follow my advice is more of a page transition-er or chapter art. You know, bonus shit for the viewer

    1. Don't post too revealing works (especially porn). If you think it's too lewd, post a censored copy here and link to Catbox (https://catbox.moe) or any off-site that hosts images for your works. You may also link back to /b/.

    2. Be smart, keep discussion to 2D Anime/Cartoon characters only. Do not post chiId photo references (legal or otherwise), and do not talk about issues regarding real children.

    3. It is recommended to let the thread reach page 7 before starting a new one.

I bought a sketchbook and a few pencils, I have a cheap Wacom tablet on the way as well as the Keys to Drawing book. I really want to draw. However, I am insanely scared that if I start drawing I won't get better. And then after hundreds of hours of drawing and trying to learn (fundamentals) I will still be shit.
When I look at beginners, they can already draw a bit. My level is literally zero, I have no talent, nothing. I want to draw but I am too scared.

Mogging me, but I think the face is too flat. It should have some curvature and left eye should be smaller due to perspective (looks like 3/4 angle).
    >>
    >>8072715
You're looking at it. I erase stuff when I no longer need it. I'll see if I remember to not do that next time although I assure you it's nothing crazy, just some sloppily drawn ovals with lines going through their centers and sometimes a flat side and/or bottom.

    >>8072716
I agree that something looks weird but I thought it was because the arm/bicep is facing sideways when it should probably be on a three quarter forward angle. I don't really know how to fix the tits though.

    >Anyone knows how the point system works in e-h? I thought you can only gain points if you have a gallery, or uploaded a torrent yourself, as per the wiki.
    >But I didn't do no such thing. And I got a lot of points. And even a big gallery is only like a few thousands points.
The economy inside EH has three currencies:

Hath - Users who sign up to operate EH's distributed processing system, "Hentai At Home" (hence the abbreviated term "HatH") earn Hath, which you can exchange for goodies or sell on the Hath Exchange for a lot of Credits. A single unit of Hath goes for about 2500 Credits!

Credits - You get a small amount of Credits every day, plus you can also earn them in the Hentaiverse game or get them from other users when they pay you a bounty.

Gallery Points - This is what we're really interested in. Gallery Points allow you to download galleries (duh?). GP comes from having galleries and torrents that other users download, but the fastest way to get them is to buy them with credits at EH's GP Exchange. The exchange rate is somewhere between 4:1 and 5:1.

-731 here, i tried and my program doesn’t do this. i found someone a twin to your artist who constructed using similar grids in just the same colors but they just constructed their own using a typical grid off of google, duplicating it to the correct number of vanishing points, then shifting and enlarging them as needed in relation to one another. but looking closer, your artist doesn’t do this, because the first one is irregular enough it looks hand-made. like, most simply, check out the far left blue vanishing point’s radiating lines, as their frequency of expression increases to imply nearing the horizon line to imply the ceiling and floor of an interior space as the artist intends, with the height of the walls left free of blue lines.
but in the second it looks like they must have either a massive copy and paste grid to produce such thin lines like a vector that aren’t pixelated when enlarging it that much, or they’re applying a simple radial vector when zoomed way out in their program that remains a vector or shape until you apply it. i use procreate now and always draw my own grids, but when i had photoshop it used to do this. sorry, tried to help as much as i could since you were kind to answer my question. if your program can create radial vectors, this should do it. i bet in some programs that can you can even control the thickness of lines and generalized number of radiating lines. wish you well
