Hello /m/. I have decided to start work on a large scale patch for Gihrens Ambition/Greed that would adjust numerous values in the game to bring it closer to the gameplay balance seen in older titles. Originally I had intended to just make the this for myself but decided to consult with all of you since there used to be constant threads around here on the game. [Planned purpose of the patch]: To give weaker craft in the game much larger viability by increasing Mobile Suit production times and giving adjustments to certain vehicles like the Type-61 and Ball to be much more practical for development. Planned adjustments include the following. >All Mobile Suits will have a minimum 2-turn production time. Units like the Galbaldy Alpha and Alex would be increased to 4 turns. >Type-61 will have its ranged increased to 2 to keep it in line with its long range depictions from IGLOO and how it was in the PS2 entry >Other long range craft will also receive range adjustments like the sniper-types >Certain Mobile Suits that had been relegated to being 1-stack units will be adjusted to 3-stack such as Gyan Cannon and Gelgoog Cannon Initial plans are just for the One Year War portion of the game. I do plan to expand the project to all of the periods for the game but wanted to ask if those on /m/ would be willing to give their own input. To those who understand the Memory Viewer in PPSSPP for creating cheats I would appreciate your help as well. I've mapped out almost every key value I would want to adjust but am not the best with writing them into CWcheat format. If push comes to shove that I can't figure out how to apply them as cheats to be toggled I'll just release a modified Save State with the factors already applied for all of you to play with the adjustments that way.

What the fuck was Hathaway's problem? Qt Hala gets shot down by Lane and this guy doesn't even try to recover her body to honor her memory. Just leaves her there. The fights in Hathaway are what I wish all Gundam shows (UC entries at least) looked like. The mobile suits actually feel like giant machines with mass, momentum and weight instead of weightless action figures flying around. Xi vs Penelope and Xi vs Azyleus in particular felt like actual dogfights, except with giant fucking robots. The speed, the way they maneuver around each other, the acceleration and sudden changes in direction. It all feels so much more believable than your typical Gundam fight. 08th MS Team is another exception, but otherwise I can't think of many entries that sell the idea of giant military machines fighting as well as Hathaway does. Isn't this supposed to be what the real robot genre is about? Yet most Gundam shows have absolute dogshit physics. Mobile suits casually perform anime acrobatics in midair, stop and change direction instantly, and throw each other around like they weigh nothing.

Gundam 0083 makes Zeta Gundam seem dumb in retrospect. Throughout Zeta, there's this notion that the Titans are excessively brutal, but after something as cataclysmic as Operation Stardust, barely three years after the armistice that ended the OYW, you'd expect the Titans to be ten times worse. Yes, I'm aware that 0083 was made after Zeta, but still even Zeta ANT doesn't give a fuck about 0083 outside of showing a GM Quel.

Hey /m/en! I don't often do this but this was the first game I ever wrote a FAQ for waaaaaaaay back when GameFAQs was still big, so I figured there would be worse things to shill. I just got it myself and havent played through all of it but the emulation seems perfect and there dont seem to be any glitches itself. The game itself is a classic turn-based panel-based SRPG, it's a lot of fun mixing and matching mechs and pilots when you get to deploy them, and the later stages are very hard, comparable to Fire Emblem 5 IMO.Please do check it out!

I feel like I've been completely duped by /m/ and the uc gundam chuds who keep insisting the universal century is the pinnacle of the franchise (Or any other gundam shows for that matter) Watched Hathaway part 1 out of boredom on Netflix. Didn't understand half the context, but loved the atmosphere, animation and cinematography. It gave me the impression that UC was this grandiose, politically sophisticated space opera with complex characters and compelling storytelling. So I went back and watched 0079 and some of zeta to fill the gaps and better understand the story. What a fucking disappointment. I can stomach dated animation, but the writing is another story. 0079 is an endless monster-of-the-week slog with contrived conflicts, baffling character decisions and melodrama masquerading as psychological depth. half the cast seems incapable of having a normal human interaction. I dropped it around ep 15 and just asked AI to summarize the rest of the story for me. Zeta isn't much better. Supposedly this incredible political thriller that everyone raves about that's the best that the franchise has to offer, yet I'm getting convoluted plotting, irrational characters and interpersonal drama that feels like it was written by aliens. Like, even in the first episode, the hyperactive mc punches a military guy just because he overheard him making "fun"of his name. Like who the fuck does that? Is this really the gold standard of gundam, or have decades of nostalgia and model kit brainrot convinced you people that this is peak fiction?

The 40th Anniversary Gundam game livestream, which featured the history of Gundam games, has ended, and with it revealed the future of Gundam Battle Operation. After 8 years, Gundam Battle Operation 3 is announced for PS5 and Stream. Features such as toggleable cross play, 9v9, mobile hacking, and SP Skills are some that have been revealed so far. A Japanese Early Network Test is set for players on 11/20 and 11/22, and an open Network Test will be announced at a later date. To celebrate, the GBO3 Announcement Celebration Campaign has begun for GBO2, featuring Material Enhancement Campaign special banners and a preview of all MS available in November. Last week's MS was SNR experimental F99, featuring the Minovsky Drive System and Wings of Light. Record Breaker is here for 650 cost. This week's MS is the third Crossbone that drifted to space for 20 years; as the other unit outside of X3, Crossbone Gundam X-0 arrives for 700 cost.
