This has unironically been one of the strongest Kamen Rider opening episodes I've ever seen. I've never been this invested in the show, and I've loved every part. The Zodiac specials flesh out the cast, and have little fun a-canonical (maybe) bits to leave the main story focused on a so-fair tight story with fun characters.I don't know what next upgrade will break the joy, but for now this is a great series. Not even Build was this strong in investing me in the show.

They may need to consume them to keep on living, but it's clear that they're also tied to their powers and the big plans centered around said powers.

Problem is that they tell us that powering up the Egg is something Sora trained for (on his own) without actually showing us how he even trained to do it.A short training montage or showing Yuna and her link with Sora be more involved in this would've easily fixed it, but instead they went for an approach that's just like "oh yeah, he can do that now".

The characters themselves often don't seem to be trying to figure out mysteries either. It's just losing connection with the viewer's point of view.

Is anyone else getting tired of how they keep flashing back to Sora and Yuna's childhood incident? Like, we get it, it's a moment that changed their lives forever, we don't need to be reminded about it in every single episode. They also keep repeating several flashback bits we've already seen before even though it's only been like 1 to 3 episodes since we last saw them.

Even the oji-san has a flashback to the speech he gave to those two even though we had already been shown that exact same flashback scene a few episodes prior, it's the flashback spam that's being used as a needless constant reminder that's starting to get tiring. We're only 8 episodes in, they need to chill.
