Do you think he was correct about humanity?
    >>
    >>24054468
    Yes.
    >>
    >>24054468
Yes, especially as we can see right now. in our world Some technology are not meant to be released. And especially not to the mass.
People also think too much about doing advancement without thinking about fixing or nurturing the current world. Some would rather destroy everything for "advancement"

Yes, glory to the capital guard and the pope

I've got mixed feeling about it. It's definitely true that not everyone can handle all tech. But it's also true that attempting to limit who can access it would simply lead to an age of an ever growing powergap between those who hoard it for themselves an everyone else(not the say that doesn't already exist, but imagine world where everyone but a chosen few technolords are 17th century slave cattle, or some similar extreme.) Rather I think the better path is to hand it out and then simply get rid of everyone who misuses it.
    >>
    >>24054905
It's almost a case of "benevolent dictator" kind of thing. While they are limiting the tech, they still are giving full freedom to the people. Before the event of the show, the situation was mostly fine, the issue was that a rebel faction of the high tech group (who actually are very good guys) started to leak all the tech everywhere. So everyone government and people started to act all high and mighty and fighting over it since the balance of the world was broken by this. (though a lot of them really got kicked in their own ass by using it and not just the people they using it on)
    >>
    >>24054905
    >>24054907
When I say "really good guys" I speak about the high tech group, not the rebel faction

I mean the show had some sort of dark age where people were raised as literal for consumption cattle to the point people still call their descendants kuntala and treat them worse even if they aren't eating them anymore. I'm not sure I'd call that mostly fine.
    >>
    >>24055018
I love how heavy pulling the trigger looks. It's like the whole thing is built trying to tell you "Are you REALLY sure you want to do this?"
    >>24055043
Isn't this supposed to have being a shitload of time before the events of the show and based on half-truth rumors? I think it's just Mask being super insecure about himself.
It's funny how usually, when someone put a mask it's to hide their own feelings, but for him, putting a Mask only made his feelings 10 times more apparent.
    >>
    >>24054468
No I don't, and I'll wait as long as it takes.

Amuro was so naive in CCA, retarded fucking feddie dog.
    >>
    >>24055557
Well the alternative ain't any better.
    >>
    >>24057562
Was it? The survivors would be forced to move to space, triggering human evolution. And, and a bonus, the Federation would cease to exist.

    Obligatory.

    >The Federation would cease to exist.
Ignoring that the survivors of a successful Axis Shock would be the top officials who have the means/influence to cut ahead in line and migrate into space and just continue the government from there - what's to say Zeon doesn't just stagnate into their own corrupt Federation, except instead of space deportations they just pull massive cullings to take care of uppity undesirables/splitters?

    >Ignoring that the survivors of a successful Axis Shock would be the top officials who have the means/influence to cut ahead in line and migrate into space and just continue the government from there
Unless Char and Zeon are even more incompetent than what people give them credit for, those would be the first ones Zeon would have to eliminate.

    >Have just committed an act that resulted in the great loss of life and rendering the Earth inhabitable, casualties in the billions and even chancing ecological disasters given that I imagine there's critical resources on Earth that would be hard to naturally cultivate out in space.
    >Desire to do it again against a roomful of people they already knew had evacuated Earth and had shook hands with in Sweetwater instead of just shooting them or something.
Zeeks are bloodthirsty retards who would nuke a country to reheat their coffee. They'd try to decapitate the Federation again and end up making a black hole or something.

Keep in mind CCA happens due to Char distracting the Federation with an apparent peace agreement so he could rush his forces to Axis. In a direct confrontation his Neo Zeon didn't actually have enough forces to win.
    >>
    >>24055557
Not necessarily naive, but hopeful. People like to look for leaders to inspire them towards change. Amuro could've been one such leader to help pursue their ideal of moving humanity into space, but with his death the people were left to themselves. Likewise Mineva could've been another such leader, but she also didn't achieve the goal.

So it goes when the future is already written.

    The federation are corrupt fucks.

Humanity isn't meant to live anywhere but Earth, as >>24054468 proves.

    >The survivors would be forced to move to space, triggering human evolution.
Evolution? More like involution, our bodies would become weak and frail. The idea that living in space causes people to become Newtypes is a myth that got disproven, Earthnoids can awaken as Newtypes too.

The fact Venus Globe just had this shit laying around is insane. Then again La Gu thinks they'll be able to literally move the Earth to a new star system when the time comes so who the fuck knows what else they have
    >>
    >>24060590
    >>24062438
They may be corrupt fucks, but they're also the corrupt fucks that got the first ticket off that rock, would still have significant resources in EFSF assets and odds are, a lot of people that either didn't put much stock in or were even on his side before not particularly wanting to side with the guys that just carried out genocide of an unimaginable scale and left humanity entirely reliant on tubes in space and domes on rocks. Absolute best case scenario for him, there's immediately an insurgency across the colonies of EFSF remnants and new anti-Neo-Zeon cells. That's being generous and assuming the EFF largely disintegrates as a coherent force and the surviving Earth Federation government on Luna completely collapses, with side-level authorities themselves doing nothing to step into the gap.
I also don't buy that Char would be satisfied with Neo Zeon immediately getting their shit rocked after just because Earth was now out of play and the exact same people or their equivalents ending up back in charge. He's doing this because he thinks that'll be enough to dislodge them.

Once again the brilliant plan to free humanity seems to involve massacring an incalculable number of normal people and not doing particularly much to the actual decision-makers responsible for things. Great job, you just made it literally grind up the common man instead of figuratively. Once again, they make people rally around the bad state institutions because the alternative they present is so much fucking worse.

Venus Globe is probably where most of the talented people on earth and the moon left after the events of Turn-A, that's why they have all the cool shit. but these were never meant to leak to be given to others, as they knew it would be far too dangerous (and they were right)
I'm following the Tomino canon here screw you Bandai
    >>
    >>24062862
Pretty sure the Rose of Hermes used to be on the moon or Towasanga, and the Rayhunton family transferred it to Venus Globe sometime before the events of the show. So yeah, Venus Globe is likely where a lot of the elites from the Moon ended up. But it seemed like their plan to build enough reverse dyson spheres to move the planet was in the works for far longer, so maybe it's where the elites from UC went during the height of Dark History, instead of abandoning the Earth sphere on colonies. It would make sense that the same people who nuked the Earth back into the stone age with rejuvenating nanomachines would also make a plan to move the entire planet. It all fits into a crazy secret society trying to secure humanity's future for the rest of time. But that's just my headcanon.
