Hey /m/en! I don't often do this but this was the first game I ever wrote a FAQ for waaaaaaaay back when GameFAQs was still big, so I figured there would be worse things to shill. Vixen 357,, a classic Genesis mecha RPG, was just released officially in English for the first time!https://store.steampowered.com/app/4365560/Looking at the credits they actually hired on the fan translators. I just got it myself and havent played through all of it but the emulation seems perfect and there dont seem to be any glitches itself. The game itself is a classic turn-based panel-based SRPG, it's a lot of fun mixing and matching mechs and pilots when you get to deploy them, and the later stages are very hard, comparable to Fire Emblem 5 IMO.Please do check it out!
Oh that's nice to know. I remember seeing this game ages ago and not really feeling like playing it untranslated. I'll check it out eventually.
>>24056075It's pretty fun, only 16 stages total so it's not a huge time commitment. The last couple are pretty hard but my guide should help you out if you have trouble.
Bump for folks who might not have heard, I forgot to mention that it's on sale till Nov. 6, so it's as good a time as any to check it out!

>>24055337Do they plan to update it? The emulator front-end stuff is pretty buggy. Button glyphs only show xbox buttons even on keyboard, so even reading the manual, you have no idea what keys to press to turn the pages, and the controller remap screen crashes on keyboard or with non-xbox controllers.
>>24059212Yeah, I'm trying to see how to get in touch with them, either an email or website or even leaving a comment on a twitter account, it seems a lot of folks are having trouble with the controller crashing.
