Especially Genta's constant "I gotta go take care of my demons on my own haha so I won't be around haha".Aguilera was another one, and her fate might have even been worse than just disappearing. Another fan favorite character that was completely assassinated and turned into Sakura's sidekick to the point it felt like she was only capable of functioning when Sakura was there. Even Ikki and Vice felt like their stuff was only background fluff to whatever was going on with Sakura only for them to realize at the end "Oh yeah we better wrap up the Ikki stuff". It was just so blatant. Like any time a character started to become popular he immediately wrote them out of the show or assassinated their character. All so the spotlight could be on his precious Sakura. And I don't even dislike Sakura, but christ it was painful and obvious what was happening.
