>>98883828I'm retarded and forgot to put GWSG in the title
https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/di0mzbww/new-rules-for-house-orlock-gangs/Preview of Orlock shits, The expected Wrecker gang where they didn't suck but cost way too much, and the half-expected meme biker gang with potential to be broken as shit if Dirt Bike can get upgraded.
>>98883828Make a new one with proper title, also SAGE
>>98883828Commit suicide, then delete this thread and post a proper one.
>>98884469>>98884761Do you really trust me after my failure?
Ngl kind a weak Orlock didn't get real bikers that quad looks like something a quadriplegic would ride
>>98884298Time to ride historic on the Ash Road
>>98884298>biker gang>has no bikeIt always rub me the wrong way. I can understand a quadbike, but not having regular bikes? Da fuq?
>>98885185>no bikeDirt bike is a common wargear everyone can take, hence the "if the dirt bike can get upgraded"
>>98883909Yes you are and yes you did you fucking retard.
https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/fbs7cxxp/orlock-tactica-advice-from-the-studio/More Orlock preview, Shotgun Savant synergy well with dual Sawn off.
>my fumbbl cup opponent still hasn't logged on>also trying to decide if I want to do the next online NAF thing because I refuse to put my NAF stuff on fumbbl because I don't want to be doxed >>98883909my filter still picked it up because it had blood bowl in the title
>>98883828Has anyone played Wyrdcry or Black Death City?my play group has been looking to rotate to something new after our current campaign ends, I'd love to try one of those two. especially with the new necro rules, got no interest in trying those out.
>>98885269Was talking about models.I imagen that for non GSC players it can get annoying, to use GSC models
So seeing as how they have announced "rerurn to" books for ash wastes and malstrain, what are the odds aranthian succession just gets straight reprinted too? you know to really nail that "we're just doing this to make people repurchase all the rules they already own" vibe.
>>98886114i /hope/ its not a straight reprint. but honestly, the chances are non-zero
>Try to design the game to bring incomes closer together>Orlock just gets greater income in generalHuh.
>>98886114It'll be Aranthian stragglers doing some gay shit. That narrative is basically over, but the event itself is in the new Journals and has effected the status quo somewhat. They can't just reprint it. We know Aranthus holed up with some Ulanti hoes in the Minerva cluster and armed the spire to the teeth with big guns. That's probably where to Aranthus will take off. I hope it will be more interesting than "lol brainwashed" this time.
>>98884819I retain a smidgen of hope you'll reincarnate into something reasonable.
>>98885957Tried Wyrdcry. It's great. Quick and easy to pick up like Warcry but has that little bit of crunch Warcry was missing.Haven't tried Black Death City yet but we are planning too.
>>98886174>Huh.>+15 more credit per cycleHuh.
>>98887182sounds promising alone. how would you say it compares to mord? ill be honest, i just want mord with alternating activations
My last match, pickup game vs khemri
>>98880528Hey thanks for the recommendation. Frostgrave's rules haven't been amazing and this looks like what we've been looking for.
>>98888113There's no campaign system yet. They say there will be one, but I've heard that from other devs before and it doesn't always happen. So I'm going to wait.Looks promising, though.
>>98884298A variant gang that isn't usable in the hive and is an autopick in the Ash Wastes is a terrible idea.I kinda like the rest, but the Wrecking Crew special rule isn't good enough for you to use explosives that catch your own gangers.
>>98888113The gameplay is much better. Alternative activations makes the game far more engaging.Like the other anon has said, campaign wise it's still light, but it's been slowly building up.
Quick game of 7s the other night, I wouldn’t have thought that the beer and pretzels game would have benefited from being even more beer and pretzels, but it was genuinely a great time.Bit of a slug fest orcs vs nurgle, kicked off, knocked an pestigor off the pitch, got possession and a cheeky goblin dodge for a TD in the first half, then slugged it out for the rest of the game for a 1-0. I think the dice favored me cause my dudes were painted. Easy to wrap in about an hour on a weeknight, would recommend. Only bummed that I didn’t throw a team mate.
>>98888576>>98888690ill give it a shot then, at least a test game. i like a lot about mordheim but just couldn't click with it, so fingers crossed, i love narrative campaigns.
>>98888472go khemri>>98888862blood bowl isn't really beer and pretzel. it has a pretty high required skill floor to play against anyone who wants to play competitively. Like I'm not a very good player, but I generally rape anyone who has a lower ELO than I do on fumbbl so I can see how it would benefit by being made more random and dicerolly
>>98884819You failed? Good. Failure is the best lesson. Get up. Reload. Recalibrate. Go on the attack. You got this.
>>98888862We switched to Sevens completely; regular BB is too static for our liking, and often too long. I hear there are other variants - anyone here recommend any of them? Do any work better for, say, dwarf teams?
If you pick one of the alternate gang lists from the Necromunda journals, do you lose the main gang trait? (Like Eschers' agility reroll or Orlocks' extra credit generation.)
>>98889391yes, and it's also had limit on types of fighter you can recruit. Like Escher Wild hunt you can only recruit 2 champs and had to rely on the Wild Runners to promote into champs.
>>98885881Just create a new FUMBBL account for NAF play. Dont worry, breaking the rules is fun and you will be fine.
>>98890325I tried to do that one time and I got caught because christer can see people's IP addresses, I'd have to remember to only use a proxy
Lmao at GW using 3d printed terrain
>>98890879They've been using 3d printed models for years.
>>98890879Not even GW employees can afford GW's shit.
Thinking about downscaling from 40k to Kill Team. How does kill team stack up these days? I'm primarily a narrative person, and I understand kill team has relatively fixed loadouts (don't care).More, I'm interested in how the game feels thematically?
>>98892765The game has a learning curve, you either stick with it or be annoyed at the players for being too sweaty.I think you're well aware that your models would be more fitting in Necromunda, The strategy aspect of Necromunda is a lot simpler than Killteam.
>>98892867I hear you (and in many cases would look to use models across Necro & Kill Team). However, I also do want to use marines.I wouldn't really be looking to play 'pick up' games either. I've got a pretty established core group
>>98888472Looks comfy!
>>98892897If you have a group you can also try Killteam PvE, it's more relaxing and better than the PvE slop Warhammer Quest that GW shat out this year. There're also rule for custom characters in Killteam to use in PvE (you can also use it for PvP but no one does this)
>>98892922Oh? What are these custom character rules?
>>98892954They're called Nemesis operative to present a powerful character, a huge monster or robot that can be on your side or as enemies. You got choices of 3 sizes, races, weapons and traits for the nemesis, and behavior in case of enemy nemesis.
>>98891021>>98890879Morons that don't understand what prototyping is. It really shows that GW painters are actually pretty good, to make 3d printed stuff not look like total shit.
>>98893165Nah, that's corporate telling the photographers they have a budget for in-house product.GW is greedy enough and dumb enough to do that.
>>98893180The material cost is penny, They had no problem handed out those boxes to influencers like candies even the bum fuck blogger with less than 50 readers, they used test models to save time. Time waiting for plastic production to complete, which might be more complicated if the production line is full, then waiting for the models to be painted, photographed, then sent to printing book and boxes queue, which might took a while too if the production line is full. Using test models they could save months or year in advance of plastic production.
>>98892765Go with Necromunda.
>>98893165Nigga that terrain set has been out for a year. They've had the time to paint one up for promotional material
article about new Orlock modelshttps://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/59guawoo/designers-notes-crafting-the-new-house-orlock-miniatures/
>>98895378The ogryns are really good. Full of character. I kinda like the fat dudes, but the WWE belts look ridiculous. Can't say that I like the "biker" theme, as it's just half baked and mixed with the original loincloth aesthetics. They should have gone full miner instead. I really like the artwork of the dredges. The butch lesbian femoid sculpts look way better than the new ones as well.
>>98895449it always confuses me how they manage to have both good looking and dog shit minis in the same pack. I understand with a range over time, but with one box, just Ogryns look great and then the dogs
>>98895807I think it's interesting how they managed to design necks and headswaps for the Sargeants without using chokers whereas that was the solution for the specialist sculpts.
>>98894057You really think wizards doesn't make employees pay retail costs for in house materials?inb4>That would be stupid!Yes, we're talking about GW.
Loving the GW Fuddlore, lads.
>>98885881Nobody will dox you, GrotGrot.>>98890325>>98890763Yeah don't do that. No need for staff to do IP matching to tell you are smurfing, but I'm not telling you more. And bans are for life. So don't fuck around. You have no reason to break rules.
>>98896662>bans are for lifelol. lmao even
>>98895378These models are mostly utter shit DEI models, particularly the boxing glove joke model.I like the ogryns, but probably still won't buy them cause I don't want some pinhead GW manager sitting there with a spreadsheet highlighting the ogryn column saying "look, we sold heaps of the new woke orlock models"Also: Who the fuck makes a biker themed gang with no bikes? Ash wastes has needed a box of motorbikes and a buggy with crew options for all gangs since 2022.
When's Blood Bowl news??
>>98900445two more weeks if we assume Kill team is next
>>98896662>>98897780I still don't want to be doxed. I got away with it (didn't even play any games) last time by lying. I don't want to press my luck
>>98900518nobody gives a shit about who you are. you don't have to have your real name on your NAF profile, and it is not even showing if you have it set up to not show your real name. paranoid for zero fucking reason. >>98897780>lol. lmao evenask the admin or staff in private if you are so inclined. some people pulled gdpr deletion requests on him in the past to get their account deleted, then wanted to come back with a new account that were also properly banned. eu rules allow sites to hold onto information necessary for running the service. same as on tinder or whatever the fuck people use, if you are banned once they will remove everything on gdpr requests except for the personal identifying information that is necessary to maintain the ban. ip, number, email, fingerprinting.
>>98900695>homosexual who uses his real name for thingsenjoy getting doxxed, retard
So new Gondor warriors are all but confirmed to come after the new Mordor Orcs, right?
How the fuck do I reload in necromunda26? It’s just an ammo dice every time if it doesn’t have some ammo save shit? What do I roll to reload a god damn auto pistol with just light and rapid fire(1) trait? The fucking ammo up whatever traits on some weapons is throwing me thebhell off. So ballistic skill plus ammo diePlus another six sider if they have ammo(x)If it fails to get x whether ammo dice shows shell or not out of ammo. If it shows shell and didn’t get the ammo x number or more then it’s jammed the rest of the game? Is that correct? Now reloading. Says it’s a simple action. Do I roll an ammo die? If it has the ammo check do I roll ammo die and the six sider? Or just one. And with rapid fire do I roll for each hit? THENDo the wound roll bullshit strength versus toughness to determine what roll to see if the hit actually woundsAn armor save in case PLUS coverThat sound right?
>>98901344Also wtf is an invulnerable save? Is the shooter doing it? Why would the wearer not wanna consider cover?
>>98901344I guess our resources page is acting suspiciously, so fine.First just get to know Rapid Fire (X) weapons that don't have the Ammo (X) trait, like Autopistols. If they have Light, they can be used in close combat, but Rapid Fire (X) doesn't apply there so they won't run out of ammo in melee. Rapid Fire (X) means you can choose to roll up to X firepower dice (bullet holes + shells) along with your d6 to hit. If you get any shells, you're out of ammo. If the d6 misses, womp womp, but if it hits, the number of hits equals the number of bullet holes you got on the firepower dice and you get to put a suppressed marker on the target. For each hit, roll to wound (strength vs. toughness). For each wound, the other player rolls to save. Every model has an intrinsic armor save. Subtract the weapon's AP (or add a negative, technically). If they're in cover, add +1 if in your weapon's short range in +2 if in long range. But a 1 or 2 always fails. You only roll one save per wound. That means picking whichever's best, your regular save or the invulnerable save that some weird item gave you.Next turn, you can do a Reload action (a single action) to reload one weapon. No dice, you just reload. N26 doesn't have basic or simple actions, just single and double. I'll get into Ammo (X) in the next post.
>>98901344>>98901561I forgot to add that if you roll 2+ firepower dice for a weapon with Rapid Fire (2 or more), the gun jams for the rest of the game. It's a 1/36 chance on 2 dice (2.8%) and 7.4% on 3 dice.
>>98901344>>98901561Ammo(X) is like adding a worse firepower die. Results equal to or higher than X don't do anything. Results lower than X are effectively an out-of-ammo shell symbol. Ammo(6) means you're usually going to spend the next turn reloading. (Or have someone with the Munitioneer skill use it within 6" of you and you pass an intelligence test to reload a weapon without using an action.)It helps me to think of the Ammo roll as a shell symbol, because if you have Rapid Fire(X) it counts towards the rule about weapons jamming for the rest of the game if you roll 2+ shell symbols.
>>98901561>That means picking whichever's best, your regular save or the invulnerable save that some weird item gave you.So if a rapid fire weapon gets three rolls. One gets the characters save. One gets the incurable save. And one for sure goes through?
In numunda 26 am can I just charge to move more than a dash? Like what if I am two inches instead of one from the target at the end of the charge. I just end my turn or can I not do that?
>>98901344>>98901753I suggest you do a thorough read of the rule before asking further questionhttps://www.necroraw.com.ru/docs/n26/the-rules/game-structure/the-action-phase/resolve-hits
>>98901865If you don’t know yourself why say anything? >>98901753I guess a better question is why would I ever dash if I could just charge and go farther? Especially if they’re both double actions
>>98901888Yeah why bother reading other rule when you already got the youtube compiled rulebook and just keep rapid firing questions to people online instead of reading rule from better sourceHere, I'll answer this question >why would I ever dash if I could just charge and go farther? Especially if they’re both double actionsTypical Goliath question, many gangs has average Initiative of 4 (and 5 on some champ/leader), making Dash a more reliable way to move, Also Charge needs a target, Dash didn't.
>>98901753The rules for this are easier to interpret than the ammo stuff, so just read them.If a charge doesn't get within 1" of the enemy, you just get as close as you can and your turn's done. You can only charge towards an enemy and M+d6 means you might not go as far as a dash.
I want to jump into MESBG with an army that is all about wolf-riding orcs. Should I go with Wolfs of Isengard or Azog's Hunters? Perhaps there is another secret wolf-riders army that I'm not aware about?
Someone leak the new BB team already please.
>>98903890It's less wolf riders and more of a warg/werewolf focused list, but there is that wolves of angmar one in armies of middle earth. Both armies work well at lower point games generally, and both can be built to work in bigger games or even alternate lists. Hunter orcs are much more the glass cannon side of things. Even a basic hunter orc warg rider can get 3 attacks on the charge, but they flop to ranged fire pretty easy.
>>98895807The dogs are peak SLAMMED Toadcore pibbys. I prefer Wrecker kit dobermans
>>989041943xBape 2xPimpy
>>98903932there is allegedly going to be a balance adjustment and orc nerf.IDK if it's going to be like dropping mighty blow from the BuBs or like getting rid of brawling brutes
>>98903932go to fummbl and find the secret league, it'll be one of those decades old rosters, easy way to spoil the next century of "new" teams.
>took the ball off some guy twice in the first half to win my fumbbl cup gameI gotta learn how to actually play. IDK what the fuck to do when I play against good players, all I'm good at is taking the ball off of n00bs/weak players and counter scoring. taking the ball off a new player and going coast to coast is so much easier than actually doing an offensive drive
>>98904194>>98904205am i having a stroke or did i just get old
im porting some star players from previous editions for a league me and my bros are gonna play soon and just got finished with this card on today of all days, happy halloween bros

>>98905406is he technically undercosted? 40k base price20k for DP30k (at the time) for sneaky git so that's 90k right there, so he gets stab and that once per game mighty blow for 10k and a loner
>>98905552i purposefully undercost him and the other stars im making a tiny bit so the group will be more likely to use them over our typical picks, feel free to increase his cost if you want to use him
>>98905845oh I thought he was official and that was the official price.
>>98905861his official price in 2016 ed was 110k without including stab or the special rule
>>98905968yeah, that's normal. it's a 20k and loner tax because apparently the guys who make blood bowl hate teams with lower tv and don't want star players in naf games. it's always stupid how overcoasted most stars and inducements are
This is a question about painting/uniforms, but don't all Uruk-Hai under Saruman's control bear the mark of the white hand? (and technically an S rune on their helmets which the movies and consequently GW miniatures omitted if I'm not mistaken.)GW's studio miniatures seem to only have the hand on captains and heroes. A basic warrior from the plastic box from the promo pictures with a hand painted on his shield stands in as captain in the old rules manual.Whereas Weta/Peter Jackson's films have slightly more involved markings in general and some - like this guy in the picture here - have red mixed into their markings (and Berserkers are technically covered in blood, but that is probably technically less of a marking and more to do with their ritual to work themselves into a frenzy).Reason I'm asking is because between the book, the films and adaption by gw on "official" paint schemes I don't see a clear pattern and want to avoid a faux pas.Another example: In the books the orcs are all supposed to have the red eye of sauron on their shields, the movie version is a lot more ragtag. But it looks better to paint it on the minis anyway imo.I think painting handprints on every single Uruk would look neat. Do people just not do it because it's more work or is there another reason that I'm unaware of? Like a convention of unit markings or something? Lurtz has the handprint on his face so you can tell him apart in the movie obviously, but we never get to see much of the chain of command, but this picture had me wondering.
>>98901703No, you use your best save against all three. Normally that'll be your regular armor save because hardly anyone has invulnerable saves. But against, say, an AP -3 weapon, your armor save will be useless so if you have an invulnerable you'll want to use it.
