I'd rather have those threads up than someone remaking the same template threads: The Beatles / boyband pasta fag, Scaruffi review pasta fag, "Band just changed our name" pasta fag, Pepe spam in general, /pol/ spam in general, Single Kpop artists having their own dedicated general outside the Kpop general, etc. I'd get this if the bot threads were being bumped every 5 minutes, but they are literally low energy and low effort bumps every few hours compared to the waifufag threads being spammed or the template threads being reposted on and on while less active threads are bumped off the catalog if no one else is around to post and watch them before they prune. And most of all, at least they have music in them, it isn't some coomer just jerking off to a female idol or pop star. Our most reposted images here are often just more idols and pop stars.

The moderation policy of 4chan has always been hands-off, even during it's heyday, it's what this place was once known for. More moderation isn't going to solve the issue. Music is a very broad and rich subject, you shouldn't force people to walk on eggshells just to discuss it, that's just not conducive to real discussion. I wish every kpop poster left as much as the next guy but mods aren't going to get rid of them for no good reason. Plus at this point the board is so fucking dead that kpop threads are now starting to last several hours so you can argue they aren't really spamming anymore because the board is too dead for that. I think there should just be a dedicated kpop board. We've made boards for way dumber reasons in the past, like how /mlp/ was created so they'd stop spamming /co/ but now the board remains even though the scene is dead.
