I’d probably use Web3Forms which is basically a middle man that would receive all reviews submitted through the website, and then it would forward those reviews to the designated inbox I give it.
No logins or email addresses necessary, but I would approve each one manually to ensure quality. I can’t imagine too many people will be submitting reviews so I think it would be doable.

I think the aesthetics fucking rocked and that there are a lot of cool designs. But it's hard to put into words. The game has a unique, dour atmosphere that's alleviated by moments of warmth + comedy and ultimately ends with a pretty hopeful message. Seeing Kanto in a state of decay and seeing how it's changed the region and the past characters is super cool as well. Fantastic OST as well and I think you can get like 100 hours of gameplay from the sheer amount of side content and secrets in it. The dev also doesn't shy away from including things that don't necessarily fit the tone of the main game.

You can tell that it was a passion project where the creator just put everything he loved into it. There's some problems with the writing not paying off in some areas, but it's an overall one-of-a-kind rom hack that's worth trying out.

I have been burned too many times, not just in Pokemon but in other romhack and fangame scenes, by people who think they're being reasonable about game balance expectations everyone has. I have even been on the other side to a degree, not from a designer perspective but having a lot of experience that carried over to a game that was, without question, far harder than anything the official series ever asked of its audience (even including postgame superbosses in the real games).
In real Pokemon, you can use pretty much whatever. The game doesn't expect anything. If your game is "a little harder than real Pokemon but you can get through it" that doesn't really tell me what to expect. Are you gonna use items in every fight, even if I turn off using items in battle so this option only affects me for whatever reason? Are you gonna have supereffective coverage on everything right out of the gate so I need to bring off-types that also learn moves that beat this type but lose out on STAB? Do I REALLY gotta bring 2 or 3 bulky shitters into every fight and use pivots and stat boosts and poison or a cheese gimmick like Trick Room?

And in the case that this game does turn out to be on the harder side, I think documentation at least for the Fakemon would be useful to see what its BST spread is, what kind of moves it learns, or what it evolves into. Because the appeal of new Pokemon is the design, right? I don't get why people act like this was ever a thing. As far back as Red/Blue, detailed game guides existed, licensed by Nintendo/TPC. I literally had a book with all the Pokemon locations, level up movesets, evolution methods, etc. I don't think I knew anyone who played the games without accessing at least some auxiliary information. Those types of resources have always been a part of the series.

If you don't want to include documentation, fine, whatever, it's your game, that's your prerogative. But this has always been a piss poor excuse. There has never been a time in the series that lacked extensive documentation. The only way you got "organic discovery" was if you deliberately ignored those resources, which you can still do to romhack documentation.
