Heya. Uh, good question. Honestly, I just play Azumarill since Venusaur is kinda shit nowadays (shamefully i had to do some grind on venusaur to keep myself top 1 since 2nd place is chasing after the spot).

Anyways, Azumarill can be cracked... at times.

Jolteon's gap closer move should have let you dash freely first then switch to point and click for the second activation or at the very least increase the range of the point and click.

the thing I love about Unite is how every single pokemon feels unique to play that feels organic to that Pokemon. Even the Pokemon that got cucked into only having one moveset more often than not fee complete with that one moveset. I generally don't like MOBAs but I do like Pokemon Unite because the concept of MOBA fits incredibly well with the idea of playing AS Pokemon instead of just yelling orders from a corner. I'm not jumping to a "better" MOBA that it'll likely be a snoozefest.

Unironically try Deadlock. I know every MOBAfag says "durrr MY game is the exception!!!" but it taking the Third Person Hero Shooter FPS angle really does help obfuscate a lot of the lamer shit that plagues the medium (even if it introduces its own problems, like mobility being so emphasized that characters who have too much of it need dedicated counter items to be even remotely fun to fight and characters who have too little of it are walking on a tightrope between mediocre and dogshit). This is a fantastic point. Another thing I love about Pokemon Unite is how casual can it be enjoyed. There's no journey, no pesky grand quest nor stress for upcoming story updates. I can just focus on playing the pokemon I like in short matches and then move to do other stuff.

The most bang for your buck you can get is farming the energy gacha for 10-12 point rewards.
If you roll the 2 free balls on daily reset, and roll again in 12 hours, then right before the next reset the price of each of 2 possible rerolls will be 1 gem. This gives you 6 total rolls in a daily cycle for 2 gems total, and a very high chance of getting the 10 or 12 gem reward. (If you roll badly on the free rolls, don't pay for the rerolls, obviously). This lets you grab decent holowear, cosmetics for your trainer, move recolors for some premium holowear and other interesting things. 575 gems will last you for a LONG time there.

Well, you can expect these to set you back around 1800 gems even with good rolls. Better start saving, kek (in the long run, after you run out of the first timer bonus, the cheapest gems are available during events; the second cheapest is the monthly subscription).
Also: these are usually the ones that you can plug 10-point move recolors into, so grabbing that is probably a good idea.
If you like the monthly battle pass mon, getting that is the cheapest way to get a high tier holo outside of events. Later it will be rerun as a 40-pointer in the energy gacha.

Box/Major Legendaries (Mewtwo was included, but not Urshifu, basically) were given the "EX" designation, which meant only one team could have ONE of them per match. The Pokemon that fell under this designation before it was retired were iirc Mewtwo X and Y, Ho-Oh, Zacian, and Miraidon. This caused a shitton of problem because EX Mons need to be absurdly strong playmakers in order to justify being limited which meant they were a balancing nightmare for their entire duration. Mewtwo X/Y, Miraidon, and Zacian basically ran the game for months at different period whereas Ho-Oh was basically never touched because Revivial on Ult wasn't worth NOT having one of the others. This was discontinued with a change in directors like 2 years or so ago now I wanna say?

Basically they juiced the fuck out of Psycho Cut and Night Slash so that anything that was caught by either got half it's health chunked off bare minimum. Made Attackers basically unplayable, objectives were literally being decided on an Absol on each side doing Psycho Cut into Unite (this was before Draft was a thing, so two sides could have the same mon at all ranks, and the map was still Aeos Arena with Zapdos as the objective, which is several order magnitudes more of a "get me to win" objecting than Kyogre/Grodon/Ray are now).

I misspoke a bit when describing EXs (sorry it's past 1 AM here), basically each team could only have a single EX License, but between each teammat a side could only have one. So one side could have Mewtwo X but none of the others, other could have Zacian but none of the others.

License journey style unlocks killed every other game.
