My main concern of playing Beastmastery Hunter in raids is that the healers are not going to bother to heal your pet. They won't even register that it's taking damage never mind spending global cooldowns and mana to heal it.It will just die all the time even if it does scale because of the lack of healing (like a player would).

I'm actually quite concerned about my healing choices now. Priest is probably the safest bet as its got such a large variety of tools, I don't expect them to manage to fuck it up as badly as they just fucked Resto Druid. For Resto Shaman they could easily remove riptide and make the spec the most boring thing in existence. Holy Paladin isn't reaching HPS that is evencompetitive with just a priest spamming renew and PoM and the only way to buff it is to put more power in the holy tree which they don't seem to want to do. Any direct buffs to paladins healing tools outside the talent tree will benefit the PvP and non healing specs more.

I didn't bother playing the beta because I didn't want to burn myself out any before the official release so I hadn't been looking at any info until a few days ago. I had been debating whether to go Druid or Paladin but I think the datamined talent changes have cemented Paladin for me.My question though is why are the Blizzard Forums and Reddit melting down about the paladin changes? They're seething about shockadin being dead or something but I look at the talents and think to myself, "wow they turbobuffed shockadin". Because Holy Shock is only at the middle of the tree you can pick up all three of Holy Shock, Swift Judgement, and Seal of Command and nuke people in PvP with a huge burst. The only caveat is it might be better to drop Holy Shock and go deeper into prot for the extra damage reduction but if you want to maximize your burst Holy Shock is definitely good.
