At about what age can you start making kids play /tg/ games? My Gf is open to having a bunch (4-5) and I want to maximally space them out to have a captive gaming group.(no she does not know this is the goal, I'm just pretending the ex-LDS thing is the reason so it seems saner)
at a bare minimum the age they aren't going to put miniatures, dice, or other game pieces in their mouth and choke on them.

But also where their intellectual faculties become good enough. So I'd say after 12 is a good bet. Granted this is a tough task because most kids are iPad kids that grew up in front of screens be they computers or phones. Their attention spans for miniature wargames and TTRPGs will be shot. But if they're able to still read novels then they should have some hope. It may be a bit of a "surrender" but sometimes the best you can get is them painting miniatures that may or may not (most likely not) get used for wargames or TTRPGs if you are the only one trying to teach them. If they have good friends into /tg/ stuff then you'll have an easier time. I am no better than iPad kids because the first neighborhood I grew up in had no other boys for me to play with so I was basically growing up in front on 2000s internet. I gotta learn to properly sit down and read TTRPGs and miniature wargames to properly focus on them.
