Fantasy, scifi, historical, alt, etc. That's also have underrated cool concepts so they don't fall in the same cliches and each one has its own identity.
>>98897263They don't really exist anymore, everything is a mélange of globalist ideals.Pendragon.
>>98897263Twilight 2000, Paladin, Pendragon, Heirs to Heresy, Zweihander, the witcher rpg, cyberpunk Eurotour.>>98897288If they ever existed they still do, games dont go off in the cupboard.
>>98897288said the retard who has no idea what is in any RPG from any time or place.
>>98897263Vaesen, Achtung Cthulhu, any given fantasy heartbreaker, Fiasco, Space 1889, Hollow Earth Expedition (and basically any other pulp adventure game, which are a fucking subgenre), 7th Sea, Wild Fields...Like nigga, the fuck you are even trying to bait here for? You want the 95% of pre-existing RPGs listed or what?
>>98897334>>98898049Thanks a lot.>Like nigga, the fuck you are even trying to bait here for? You want the 95% of pre-existing RPGs listed or what?I'm not trying to bait, I'm new in this hobby and I didn't have no idea of most of the ones mentionated here. Nevertheless, I agree, I should have specified a little more, I want RPGs where white western civilizations appear as the supreme or victorious ones, instead of being the cliche one: decadent, primitive, "le bad guy", etc.
>>98899647>I'm not trying to baitSure buddy, sure> instead of being the cliche one: decadent, primitive, "le bad guy", etc. There is a literal handful of games where this happens, and vast majority of them are one flavour or another of post-apo anyway.Have you fucking considered the option of "enter a hobby as is, rather than flaunt personal, retarded politics" instead of... whatever the fuck you are doing?
>>98900504That's the point of me asking for recommendations, perhaps there are some that fit my taste. If you don't know the oens I'm asking for, ok no problem. But feels weird that you took it so personal, if you don't like this thread, you are not force to answer in it.>retarded politicsI want world-buildings where diplomacy and grand-strategy are a requisite, so, I guess they must have politics in it.
>>98901136>I want world-buildings where diplomacy and grand-strategy are a requisite,>>>/vst/ is that way
>>98897263"Aquelarre", about adventures in medieval Spain with fantasy and religious elements. The players have to deal with the realities of the actual Middle Ages in addition of spanish pagan and christian mythic entities and creatures.Gritty and era-appropiate art and vibes. Think "The Name of the Rose" meets "Lady Hawke"
>>98897263Aquelarre. Pendragon but in reality, but a bit like CoC and WFRP.Alternatively Ars Magica if you like Central Europe more... Or Dark Ages World of Darkness if you like vampires and such.Age of Vikings if you like early medieval period.
>>98901136>I want world-buildings where diplomacy and grand-strategy are a requisite, so, I guess they must have politics in it.World of Darkness Vampire The Masquerade and Vampire Dark Age specifically. Pendragon as already mentioned. Most older tsr era Dungeons and Dragons or the osr material inspired by it has strong kingdom building western empire focus. Battletech. Most of battletech is about western empires and nobles and space eugenicists.
>>98901271>>98902378Aquelarre is a spanish game, which by default requires an IQ never seen in /tg/ (100+)./tg/ has a struggle comprehending anima, if the average /tg/ user even attempted to understand aquelarre they'd kill themselves while crying for WoTC and GW to save them.
>>98905207Anima? Anima Beyond Fantasy?Look, it's Spanish but it has several core books in English. Same as French In Nomine, Nephilim, Swedish Kult and so on... If you can comprehend Call of Cthulhu you can comprehend Aquelarre. It's just historical. Everyone knows enough medieval history of Iberian peninsula. It's the second most popular colonial force next to Britain. Entire colonial world has English or Hispanic ancestry. I refuse to believe history is an obstacle to enthusiasts of RPGs. History is better than fantasy in most cases. It's not like people willing to read 8 Drizzt novels would have a hard time reading about reality for a change.
