How can I roleplay war games and battles alone all by myself? I was thinking I wanna get into roleplaying, and what I would like would be making like maps with frontlines and make up squads (of fictional characters I like) and make them do stuff. Idk, maybe write like encounters or missions? I recogn with AI now I could make cool pictures of most situations too.

>>98894014A lot of wargames over the last decade or so, but particularly post coivd have focused on solo rules for mission generation and procedure for running the opfor. They're not a way of playing I like much but they're certainly prevalent. Figure out a rough idea of what sort of wargame you want and ask /awg/ or /hwg/ depending. There's a huge number of options so having a better idea of what you want or at least what you don't want will help narrow it down.
