I always feel a little dirty when a photo looks good in greyscale but not in color
>>4537104I think this image looks much better in color. It's easier to read. This b&w processing makes it challenging to distinguish the fence from the grass, the only thing that looks distinct is the sky. Then again, It's not a particularly original or interesting photo.
>>4537104This looks better in color
It would look better if you stopped the car and climbed over the fence first
>>4537108original photos fucking suck, everything worth photographing has been photographed 1000 times before so all that's left is shitty candid snapshots of the urban poor with an Instagram B&W filter over them
>>4537104It's because it's ugly grass and ugly light. At a different time or using some filters it could look better. Maybe just with a shifted balance. Don't be afraid to not have whites be neutral whites, it's art not journalism.
>>4537127>you know what this picture of nothing could really use? even less The fence was barbed wire and I'm not about to get myself shot by some third world cow rancher >>4537145>shifted balance I do not "edit", I do not "color correct", I take these in the default camera app on an iPhone 8 and if it looks like shit I click the Vivid Warm button
>>4537219Oh dear.
>>4537141Since you hate photography you know that posting here is optional right
>>4537219>I take these in the default camera app on an iPhone 8 and if it looks like shit I click the Vivid Warm buttonStill looks like shit.
