KENTMERE PAN 400
>GET A PHOTO OF THIS MATE!
your camera fucking sucks lol
>>4535714Is it me or is everyone (including myself ) is doing soft focus photo currently? It's a cool thread but I think the series lacks some anchors because I'm not sure what it is that I'm looking at here. Like it seems to be about transportation but then there's >>4535714 or >>4535724 which don't seem to be on theme.>>4535726>>4535744>>4535745>>4535734kino>>4535715>>4535717Repetitive, there is many other pairs of images that are too repetitive IMOGood job, thanks for the photo thread OP. >>4535750Fuck off gearfag
Good thread. Bad to good photos. A fairly high amount of repetition. The lens / dev combo gives it a more authentic old feel because I'm guessing you're using their $35 Ilford Sprite PnS and deving in Ilford chems.I quite like a few of them. >>4535735 This is not a technical feat or very interesting. However, it captures a nice, quiet and hazy memory of night time in the Australian suburbs. Something familiar but also not. >>4535721 Gives me the same kind of feeling. Familiar yet distant. It's like the rewind you get at the end of your life where everything is a bit distorted but you can imagine the scene fits your life somehow. That being said you are in fact allowed to hit focus, and the 20-odd snapshits of a car going past your Adelaide crimehole suburb is quite unengaging. Not tryna be a cunt. If you're just shooting for the hell of it then that's that. But if you wanted to engage with an audience then fuck these off or limit them to 5-6 tops. This board would be healthier if more anons did what you've done here and just post a thread full with a coherent topic. Even if that topic is B&W snapshits. Do it again anon.
>>4535752>This board would be healthier if more anons did what you've done here and just post a thread full with a coherent topic. This, a thousand times this. I keep asking everyone that posts cool stuff in rpt or unrelated threads to do it. It would revive /p.
>>4535741Based, I shot a similar concept on HP5
>>4535779Can you afford that? Packs of 36 seem to go for 65-80 BYN online.
>>4535780Canon does not take photos.
>>4535780The machine gun approach to photography is fatal to serious results. I make the shots count. That said, a 36 pack of rolls for that money would be a steal. That's 19€. I wish it were that cheap. >>4535792Cope.
>>4535795That said, it's basically the same emulsion as Kentmere so not really worth expending extra on unless you care about handling the negs easier (Kemtmere curls more and is flimsier)
>>4535752>Adelaide crimehole suburbI laughed.
>>4535780>BYNwhat films are generally available in Luka's Greater Potato Reich?
>>4535825suddenly it became clear why he bitches so much about no longer being able to buy from eBaysanctioned to hell and back
>>4535760/rpt/ is kinda annoying because it discourages people from starting and bumping their own threads with pics they might take over a week or month. it's a slow board. there's plenty of time to tend to your own thread if you like. it ruins an /rpt/ when someone posts a series of images, too. it would be great if there were only one or two in the catalog at any one time but right now there's six, two of which aren't even at bump limit. I hope someone was fired for that blunder.
>>4535879Yep, but understandably nobody wants to create image threads in a place where most of the posts are gear posting and schizo flood by the usual suspects. Look at this thread even, 2 critiques, and the thread is immediately derailed. So I guess rpt feels like the place to post image now. You just cannot fight against 24/7 flood without an action from the mods. I wish I posted more photo thread like this one but it takes time to make. Anyway, yeah let's hope more anons do more threads like what this OP did.
>>4535884I wonder what he's using that makes lights flare as flat disks while having the sources in focus. Some filter I guess.
>>4535714>
>>4535879Well, I haven't thought of it that way. I'll make a new thread next time I have more than a few photos to post. There is nothing of value in the catalog anyway.

>>4535714I also got a few rolls of KP400. I have two rangefinders that need testing and since I already enjoyed shooting KP100 and KP200 I figured this is a good film to test with and I can develop myself.I assume all these were shot on 35mm film, right? The grain doesn't seem too bad.
