Shot last night. Which one is shot on sony and which one is shot on leica?
>>4533621
>>4533621>>4533622Same ISO and Aperture.Slightly different focal length and shutter speed. Both shot in Aperture Priority.
>>4533621Literally no one cares, why would you waste our time with such a dumb question? The more important piece of gear is behind the camera, and it's not showcasing any particularly interesting features in these snapshits. Have a nice day.
>>4533622>>4533621they use the same sensors and range of lens design ethos m8o, just sony cooks their raws so color and extreme low light falls apart fast, but i'm guessing the least precise framing (test images1) is leica
>>4533632Literally seething
>>4533621SonyDigital, soulless, cold>>4533622LeicaWarm, soulful, pleasantNow let's see if I won.
>>4533620love the color here
>>4533632>snapshitsBut anon, a clear story is being toldWhy is this a 'snapshit'?
1/2
>>45336572/2
>>4533622This one is leica.
>>4533659me likey
>>4533621The one you had with you.>>4533622The other one you had with you.>>4533620Gorgeous colors, and it always brings out an unreal quality to foliage and trees. I've been earnestly considering trying out IR landscape photography myself, though I'd probably end up doing half of it in monochrome.
>>4533621>>4533622The out of focus one is the Leica.
>>4533622Leica, the edges of the picture look like shit in the other so I'm guessing it's Sony compensating for the vignetting from the small mount and lack of Leica microlenses
more like from 2 weeks ago but whatever
>>4533621dubs says this one's the sony
>>4533621this one looks like shit, the grass detail is really bad. but its got a more modern bokeh so sony?
The photo with the most engagement is of a fat man's ass with his ball in his hands. Classic pee.
>>4533667Thanks.
>>4533622>>4533621Welcome to /p. Please use the gear thread.
>>4533622>lacks contrast>out of focus>lots of noiseDefinitely the Leica
Since this is a full (autism) spectrum thread, I might as well post here. Here are other photos from the same place using the same camera, lens and filter combo. It took me a while to dial in the polarizer for the best darkening effect, but it still isn't quite "it".
>>4534617Even though I was able to get the lake to look quite dark, sky still isn't that stark dark blue, supposedly the green filter should help with that.
>>4534619This shot is basically backlit, but I still quite like how I was able to get "autumn on demand" with that yellowish hue to the vegetation.
>>4534620And for the crossover episode with /o/dbt, my bike. You can see that padding inside the helmet has this orangish hue as well, I suspect it's made from a plant-based material, so it reflects the near-infrared radiation similar to the vegetation.
>>4534621It's not a CBX but it's close enough for you to be called based and hondapilled. And yeah lotta lid liners will have bamboo fiber in em because it's good for sweat wicking. It's cool, because this kind of obviously colour-fucked photography really matches the 80s/90s vibe you got with a lot of old magazine advertisements for motorcycles, so it meshes well. Just slap some photoshopped Honda logos on it (and fuck off the random cars in the bkg) and you got a sales pitch baybee.
>>4534623It would've been much better with some sport bike, but my back is too fucked to ride on them, even on VFR I had before Transalp.
Autumn will end soon and all color will disappear with it. Shit sucks.
>>4534972Fuck tripfags btw. Making duplicate threads, shitting up the board with their nophoto negativity and scaring off new users with their autism.
>>4534973I couldn't get any interesting photos recently but at least the colors are nice.
How do you cope with flat and boring winter light? The overwhelming grayness and dullness of everything? Shooting BW? I always find it hard to motivate myself to go outside and shoot in winter months. Even if I force myself to go outside I rarely bring any photos home.
>>4534975I struggled with the same thing, so I shoot at night.
>>4534975golden hoursinteresting subjects that work under flat lighting
>>4534975Use the fog in your favor to give your pictures mystery aura

Neat natural contrast from a sunset last weekend.
>>4533657Nice mood. I want to sit on that bench. Wish the car wasn't in the shot.>>4535049Interesting subject.>>4534088Cool moment, and I know there's not much you could have done to get a better shot, but a lower angle would have been so much better. Didn't even see the deer at first.
>>4534974
>>4535175
>>4534976Excellent photo
>>4535049nice
>>4535255iktf
>>4535279>>4535280Weird colour and contrast. Not much there.
Dragonflies are cool as fuck.
>>4535705When I use DSCF filenames, I'm obligated to enable the piss filter and nuke clarity.
>>4535830Agreed
>>4535833I rename my Leica photos to DSCF
I'm going to have to re-shoot this in better lighting.
maybe a rare instance of getting too close?>>4534972>>4534976nice shots.>>4534974good thumbnail but fullsize doesn't quite do it. maybe better stopped down

Whats a good way to learn architectural photography? I was thinking of just buying architecture art books and then trying to copy the photos there
