Maybe camera glasses are the way for street photography so you stop taking photos of stranger's backs in public.

They shoot video too though vertical

Use a 360 cam to take video of everything, walk around, then use AI to scan through the footage and select the best frames to make street photographs from. It's not difficult to be a street tog.

You're still holding a camera dummy, the glasses are somewhat incognito

    Art is dead.

    Wrong, as usual.

I was thinking that'd go undetected if everyone around you was close by and wearing a hat, but then the photos would just be tops of hats

They also have ones that mount on your shoulder or even your chest. You could always use multiple 180/360 cams if you were a truly serious streetographer.

nah those new cameras use AI or something to make it invisible. Or was it an algorithm? Idk

what if someone grabs it and starts swinging you in a circle

Quality sucks ass for anything small farther than a few meters from the viewer, they're vertical-only and it's hard to frame the shot.
They aren't even good for creepshots due to the above, people look too small and lack critical details. Gen 1 quality sucks major ass, Gen 2 is a little better but still terrible.
They're good only to film weird happenings like people going apeshit at each other without getting dragged into it.
If I want to take a street photograph (as in a photo of the street) I'll just take out my phone and do it

Do you own a pair, how's it going with them? Headaches?

Camera glasses have been a thing for a long time, people are only now taking notice because they're being directly connected to social media. I remember looking into some about 10 years ago when recording Urbex videos were a big thing.

If someone catches you pointing these at them and you get beaten into a coma, remember that you deserved it.

    >Can record while power banked

    UNLIMITED POWAH!

Judging from cop-slop videos, current bodycams appear to do good enough job with 8h recording time.

I will not be remembering that since there is no expectation of privacy in a public space, assault is illegal, and the state has a monopoly on violence

What's paper legal and socially legal are two seperate things anon.
If you get bashed and call the cops, all it takes is two normal looking people to say you were badgering or harassing them or others in a public setting, and the cop is almost guaranteed to side with them. If you get into a 1v1 over it then it comes down to who fights better anyway, because it's literally you vs them and having a broken jaw makes it hard to call for help, and a broken camera leaves no evidence.

So either bulk up or fuck up, because the anons otb going "B-b-but assault is illegal!" like you are laughable.

You are right in every place except America, their constitution guarantees you can film strangers in public, even if a fight broke out and your camera fell down it doesn't magically erases the footage, these little cameras are designed to take a hit or two.
In an event of somebody touches you or your camera because you are filming them and you pouch them back the judge will side with you automatically because again American constitution gives you the right to defend your property with reasonable force
