    Its their best one

Perfect example that music is highly contextual and never timeless. It was just released at the wrong time. During the death of indie when nobody wanted to hear this kinda crap anymore. I like it a lot.

    monkey riches is fricking amazin

It's a great album but there really is something about the mix that really didn't help it. The live performances from the era had some real great organic energy that doesn't come off so well in the album I think.

It's not too much of an issue for most of the songs since the songwriting is very strong anyways, but Monkey Riches, Father Time, Mercury Man and Pulleys end up falling slightly flat I feel. They're not bad songs, but by that point in the album you kind of wish they'd leave a bit of space in the arrangements I feel.

Really it just lacks a "No More Running" type of track to let the album breathe before Amanitas.

    It isn't, but it's overhated.

This is the one I bought to give AC another chance when it was released. Hated it. I'm done after one track when I try to re-listen to it. My only 0.5 rating so far

    >I'm done after one track
having this low of an attention span really isn't something you should brag about

No point continuing to listen to trash. Nothing to do with attention.
