I just upgraded my stereo with a new DAC and I am so happy. Now my home stereo finally sounds as good as my headphones. I got what’s called an R2R DAC which gives digital music a more analog presentation. Suffice to say, it’s breathed new life into my music collection. Rap especially sounds amazing, and classic rock sounds crazy because you think you’re listening to a record but it’s actually an mp3. I never see audiophile threads on this board, but you should invest in an excessively good stereo system because it will make whatever music you listen to way more enjoyable.
