Why do musicians take faggy pictures like this? What does it even have to do with music?
>>131990436Looks hard
Apparently that jumpsuit was designed by fashion artist Kansai Yamamoto for one of his Japanese tours and it's supposed to be a reference to Kabuki theater
>>131990436this is art, some part of which is also of androgynous qualityof which some part could be mistaken to be 'faggy'
>>131990436it's called art plebdamn flyovers
>>131990436MJ also had something similar going on on transcending boundraries between sexessomething about the common human component, that is present in both sexes
This is extremely straight though.
>>131990612This, but unironically.
>>131990436reminds of that crap Sam Smith did. what a clown. apparently you can't insult him on social media or you get banned.
>>131990486Flyovers grow your food. Lower your tone, coastcuck.
Apparently it's part of his "Moonage daydream", from what I could gather..
>>131990908???
>>131990927Bodied that redneck
>>131990927>>131991016just like cali bottles their wine
>>131990470>>131990913>On the album, the song directly introduces the character Ziggy Stardust, who describes himself as a bisexual alien rock superstar who will save the Earth from the impending disaster described in the opening track "Five Years"welp, i stand corrected>Once introduced, Ziggy proclaims himself "an exotic hybrid of rock's past and mankind's future": "an alligator" (strong and remorseless), "a mama-papa" (non-gender specific), "the space invader" (alien and phallic), "a rock'n'rollin' bitch" and a "pink-monkey-bird" (gay slang for a recipient of anal sex).https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moonage_Daydreammaybe im subconsciously intentionally overlooking the "pink-monkey-bird" part, ahem, ahem
>>131991059the year is 1971, it was two years ago man landed on the moon>pauseit seems almost cartoonish nowbut back then, that was all pretty futuristic-y>maybe im subconsciously intentionally overlooking the "pink-monkey-bird" part, ahem, ahemmaybe bowie also just didnt too good a job >>131990754 highlighting the bi/gay elementshis outfit looks more like bootcuthighlighting knees, the hold and standing, and not hips and waistand the texture is reminiscient of tree ringsall rather masculine qualitiesits rather his facial expression, and the lack of contrast between hair and background, that create the gay tensionagain, its 1971being gay is basically taboo
>>131991139Technically the last manned lunar landing was in 1972 thoughbeit
>>131991146right>>131991139>unfocuses eyesightoh, yeahand then theres that
>>131990908and that's all you do
>>131990927That's chart is based on value, dumbass. Shit like almonds and avocados sell for a premium price, it has nothing to do with where the majority of your food is produced in the United States.
>>131991336Even if you exclude tree nuts (which you shouldn't because they are very delicious and full of protein) California is still ranked #1
>>131991348>millions of U.S. dollars Why did you just ignore the point of my post? The value of the produce throws that chart off. California does not provide most of the food you eat and never will.I said avocados too, plus there are tons of other high value products that juke those numbers, you're a liar.
>>131991420>>131991336>California grows food that people are willing to pay money foramazing argument there cleetus
>>131991424The price of the produce being high isn't what you originally claimed, flyover states still produce most of your food. You tried to dispute it with a chart that does refute that fact. It's funny how I'm stupid because you lost the argument, isn't it?
>>131991450Unfortunately, the USDA doesn't track exports by weight, this is because produce sold by weight is often packaged product in bulk from other states or even other countries. But this is an insane hill to die on regardless. Most of California's produce is grown in-state, and they are overwhelmingly the top agricultural exporter. This isn't up for debate anon
>>131990436zamn dis yt boi lookin tuff fr
>>131990436Some musicians are exceptionally physically attractive, so they get called upon to do stuff like this by photographers who want to sell their works. That is just basic capitalism at work, if you have a problem with it, you're basically a Marxist
>>131991336>>131991420>>131991450The reason produce is tracked by value is because it's more accurate. Tracking exports by any other means such as weight would have to include packaged products, but a product packaged in one state may contain produce from other states. If your argument is that flyover states produce more food than California does, you shouldn't be basing this off of weight in the first place. Typical Cleetus education
>>131991531That's a big wall of cope, just say you lost the argument and you're seething next time lol>>131991484>This isn't up for debate anonOh, yes it is.>they are overwhelmingly the top agricultural exporterOh? Is that so? Let's see your evidence that proves it. We'll wait :^)
>>131991209I'm gonna make sure your family starves
>>131990436bowie has always been an obnoxious narcissistic artfag, ive heard from a bomoer that he used to have some sort of theater plays between songs in his 80's tours
>>131990436It's fun. What's your baggage?
>>131991546Highest production entirely depends on what metrics you use. Obviously GDP is the standard, but if you do it by actual weight, Iowa is strongly in the lead. If you do it by actual amount of food eaten by humans, California still comes out on top. Compare fruit and vegetable consumption to corn or basedbean and you can understand that easily. Also California is fucking huge, I don't know why people would ever doubt they produce a huge amount of anything. >>131990436Strong visual images are always a compliment to music, be it packaging or performance. Pre-internet times it mattered much more because you weren't as visually assaulted at all times. There were advertisements of course, but they weren't as fleeting, quickly replaced by the next thing. Even some of the stronger images get washed out in your mind over time, but when you're viewing a magazine or album sleeve, it's more physical, your eyes analyze it more and it makes a stronger memory. I miss a good 35mm photoshoot. Let's be real, Bowie may not be so highly revered if he weren't such a constant memorable image. This can of course be said for plenty of other artists, but the wider your artistic scope is, the more you need to incorporate the visual.
>>131990436>anon discovers that pop stars are narcissistic attention whores
>>131996532No one's arguing California doesn't produce a large amount of food, nice strawman though. Your original claim was that they produced most of the food we eat which still isn't true and you still haven't provided any evidence for.Until you do you'll remain wrong :^)
>>131998084The Midwest raises livestock. Livestock requires a tremendous amount of food to grow to meet meat demands. A large chunk of Midwest produce goes to feeding their livestock, not humans. This isn't rocket science, any actual livestock farmer in the Midwest will tell you this. Oh and a massive portion of corn grown is turned into ethanol fuel, NOT food. >more than 67% of total crop calories and roughly 35% to 36% of corn along with 30% of basedbeans grown in the Midwest goes toward animal feed for livestock>In the U.S. Midwest, roughly one-third to 40% of the primary crop footprint is diverted from the food supply to produce transportation fuelhttps://www.fb.org/intel/markets/crops-feed-livestock-power-exports-fuel-the-economy
