why would you go all that way, pay that high ticket price, then end up watching it on a fucking screen? giant outdoor venues suck balls.
small indoor venues are far superior, both for sound quality and the fact you can see the stage.

been to many shows there. Its a great place to see a show with friends and if you dont really care about really seeing the band. I mean you can see them but they are far away even in good seats. The front row is like 20 yards from the stage. the ambience is top tier but I would rather see a band in a 1200 person club.

this. the views aren't great, even in the best seats, and unless you feel like crowding in up front the sound is for shit because the wind blows it around.

You can hike around Red Rocks for free when there aren't shows happening, you get the same great views without all the bullshit.

oh and also getting in and out of the venue is a pain in the ass too. I'd much rather see and hear a show at the Fillmore or the Ogden

Iron Maiden did two shows there in 1985 and 2000, only a bad cam-rip is available from 2000 and barely any photos.
Wish there was a better recording, because the venue is indeed amazing
