So if you didn’t grow up with a hip-hop head in your family, or someone who was really into hip-hop, either now or back in the day, then you’d never know most of this music even existed. It’s not that people don’t like it, they’ve just never heard it, or heard of it, and don’t see it on social media or the internet so they’d never have a reason to listen to it, or hear it, or know what it is.
