    Hello, anons of /gd/.
What is the general opinion, and your personal thoughts, regarding this particular program?
It it easy to learn it?

I've made similar inquiries elsewhere ( >>>/ic/7874933 ), but perhaps it would have been better to have come here instead.

Good for basic stuff non design jobs like it for in house design for ease of use
    >>
real easy to learn. been doing things on this long enough. great thing for some basic projects. plus your comrades can easily join up and do shit together

It's the standard for social media visuals.

I use it from time to time to this day, I don't think it's that good without premium if you want to do "advanced" stuff but it's great for beginners

Work in a print shop and it is a great tool for people who don't know what they are doing but would rather learn and save a money and it saves me time. Even for basic GD use I would still recommend it - you don't need indesign to make a booklet. It is SO much better if we have to edit their design vs the same kind of people that buy photoshop and send shit layering with loads of transparency issues. Once they finish their project I tell them to just share via canva for us to download. 100/10 UI is also not bad.

The company I'm working for rn has their entire GD departement using Canva and while I think it's a solid option for beginner designers , I can't recommend it because a lot of the features end up being crutches that won't help you improve as a Graphic Designer .
For example : a lot the GD team uses templates for their work , yet when I ask them do they know layout , spacing , safe zones and whatnot they dont know shit .
Imo Affinity is wayy better as a free alternative

customer vs industry is pretty unfair...it actually sucks from a GD pov but from customer that knows jack shit, not that bad

    >unfair

isn't this what moot was working on before he went to google?
    >>
Canva is a very easy to use an easy to learn app. The only problem with it is that you have to pay to get some features. But you can do a lot with only using the free version. I used the free canva version for like few years to do all my graphic design work.
