Hello people, so I am restoring an old and cheap vise here overseas and I removed the screws that hold the jaws into place.
When they were in I thought that those were ISO M6 screws but seems to be a 1/4" inch screws. One of them got damaged after I took it out; not the hole, just the screw, so I am looking for replacements but of course here are really hard to find so I'm probably better off Aliexpress or something.
BUT I need to know what to take, obviously. Here's the screw with a caliper set at 1/2" distance to measure threads.
Other measurements I took are: fits a 3/16 allen wrench, caliper diameter is 6,35mm or 1/4" on the other scale, lenght 3/4". The measurement I don't know is the thread, pic related there are 11 pitches in half a inch. UNC?
    Thanks

What is the major thread diameter?

in the time it takes for someone to answer, you could have gone to home depot, matched it, and got a bag of them.

Take it to a hardware store, even home depot usually has a fixture in the fasteners isle where you can test out your random nuts and bolts to find out their thread. I'm gonna say it's most likely 1/4-20 thread.

1/4” #20 should be more standard, it’s probably the most common in the world… that’s the camera/tripod mount screw thread standard.

burgerfaggots have no idea how hard it is to get sae hardware in 99% of the world
with the exception of leafland theres no other place especially yurop where a theres full stock of 2 standards easily available
ive seen dozens of boomerforum posts over the years of guys being held up for months on a project for want of a couple 1/2-13 bolts or something trivial like op

Thanks for the chart, will check tomorrow as now it's evening. But Major Thread (external) is ~6,3mm and that would be .25 I guess

Wrote that I live overseas. We're ISO here.

It is literally non existent, last year I bought a locally manufactured AR15 but mil-spec so everything is Inches. Had to buy allen wrenches and hex bits in inches off the internet because it was impossible to find them.
In this regard the chinese online sellers help a lot, but sometimes even searchin for the right thing is really difficult.

will check that out also. Thanks.
