    1) powerline technician
    2) elevator mechanic
    3) industrial plumber

which trade would you guys recommend getting into as a young person with little professional experience?
    >>
depends where you live and want to live
elevator would be easiest money and safest, but requires you to live somewhere with lots of elevators; which usually sucks
plumber has shit, but always demand
powerline has death, but always demand

I live in a third world country and I wouldn't even bother with those jobs. On top of being paid around 50 usd per month, there's also no safety equipment and you're a subcontractor slave.

my ancestors not more than 150 years ago were toiling under the same conditions, then they fought battles for workers rights and their efforts led to safety regulations, better wages and hours.
you thirdies should give it a try.

Plumber is easily attainable and good work

Lineworker will take more time and training to get into but is a reasonable goal

You're not getting an elevator tech job without nepotism

    Wichita lineman.

Lineman is like 2 years training andn5 years as a bolitch/groundman/pole climber before you get to be in the bucket.

Also very dangerous if you're dumb or get put on a dumb crew. And you won't know if they're doing dumb shit for 10 years, so it's a big gamble to get started. Lay os pretty good and lots of OT

my buddy is a lineman. 180K a year and gets 3 months off. highschool only. but he had to do several years of training. downside is he tore his acl twice from all the climbing.

Can you lift a 186 pound piece of 6 inch by yourself and carry it up a 14 foot ladder.

Don’t do elevator mechanic you’ll fall down some floors eventually. My friend did it and he had 2 elevator falls.
