    >Currently working on Picrel (left) after seeing the right side from Lolailole.

Using half-step ladder stitch, and Aiko precision cylinder in TB-402B, TB-PF565, and TBC-49.

Agreed, it’s looking much more consistent now. I’ve always been a bit averse to working single-needled because two had always felt slightly faster… but >>3010410 is much smoother to do, and as they say; smooth is fast.

    >Meh hands and neck like this method better too. Easier to pick up and shift positions.

    >realized I never uploaded the graphic for half-step ladder.

It’s got its uses, definitely good for smaller rectangular projects (5-7 beads in width). With my project (14 beads wide) it was difficult to maintain tension and the rows began buckling in the middle when tightened.
    >These issues haven’t occurred for me with smaller project sizes.

This place moves pretty slow, huh? I'm a /k/ transplant and I've been making a ton of festival bracelets and lurkin around here. What do you make your bread craft for?

It does, but there’s a bit of pleasure in the slower-paced boards. Idk how to explain but the info I come across seems both more useful and shared in earnest.

I had a kandi store on Mercari a longgg time ago, like 10+ years atp.
Nowadays I mostly just bead for pleasure, it’s a very satisfying bus/train activity and scratches the same itch as reading when I don’t have the mental energy for processing a story.

    >Also makes for good gifting fodder. Every Mother’s Day, some kind of beaded flower is in the mix for mine. Picrel is a brooch.

I think I'm out of beads for now. I'm making ear plug earings at .51c a pair + XXL alcohol pad. I am a stickler for quality materials so my bracelets are about $1-$1.50 per unit and to me the ear plug earrings are a better price and a better gift overall. I'll likely make specialty bracelets but not as many. I hand out about 500+ gifts per festival, 700+ at Bass Canyon @ The Gorge so I have a fairly high bar for materials and ambition for gifting.
Pic rel is my gift list for Bass Canyon.

Ear plug earrings are a great idea! I’d feel quite blessed if someone gave me some at a loud venue.
Also man, you’ve been busy! And I thought I got cooking every time Gathering of the Juggalos rolls around!
    >picrel = my carry on last year
    >>
    >>3011421
How are the Juggalo gatherings? The wife and I have been eye balling them. I normally stick to EDM because of the crowd. In the 'real world' I'm an all black/earth tone guy and rather reserved, the festivals are where I actually relax.
    >for on topic,
Here is my master protection bracelet. Composed of prime numbers into a prime number, 5 skulls, 7 red, 7 black, 2 crystals, 2 gold, 3-1 element beads, 5 charms, and holding the charms are 11 jump rings. Ill explain more if you ask but otherwise I wont bore you.
    >>
    Keeping the bead thread alive,
Here are some feminine protection charms I strictly gave to genetic women only. The Pentacle of the elements and spirit, the Pentacle with the waxing (young feminine) moon then the waxing crescent, Pentacle, and Waning feminine set that auspiciously looks like ovaries.
I hope to get more of these charms but they are out on amazon for the time being.
    >>
    >>3011437
do people make covert protection jewelry? i like the idea of spiritual protection but i really don't like the idea of walking around decorated like a pagan christmas tree (yule tree?)

maybe sew charms underneath a more "normal" looking bracelet?
    >>
    >>3011834
I tend to hand out gifts befitting the person. If someone is dressed in black and other such symbols I'll give them a similar bracelet.
Here are my more normie coded protection bracelets with Yggdrasil the tree of life, The feminine moon and the masculine sun, The Deaths Head Moth for guidance through the dark to the light and the Hamsa hand of protection with various extra symbology on the hand. Each bead set is a prime number, 13 gold, 13 silver, 2 crystals, 2 stars and 1 charm making for 31 total.

Thanks, anon. Busy few days made replying fall to the wayside.
    >>3011437
They’re hard to describe, usually when people ask I just take them there. It’s kinda like an intersection of every other festival but with the common theme of clownery. Juggalos are a very diverse bunch.

    >For on-topic:
Tried making “Viking chains”. Pretty cool, to do it you knit an I-cord with thin-gauge wire and pass it through a drawing board. Mine was made from a piece of plywood I drilled holes into.
    >>
    >>3012059
Holy shit those are some really cool wire bracelets and I hope things are well with you.
I have a few ICP songs I keep on my master playlist. Homies, Nedding game, Crossing the bridge the good version. So I'm not completely unawares but I am looking for more festivals to go to as the camping and general fucking around is half of it for me. Giving gifts and flipping Tarot cards gets me a lot of cool shit so I'd like to see where that leads elsewhere.
    >For on topic
Just as I made feminine charms for genetic women only I also made a thorough supply of rainbow-esque LGBT bracelets. I really like the color lines as is so I'm most likely to re-create variants again and there is no numerology in these bracelets, It was an exercise of aesthetics over my obsessive compulsions.

All is well! Just preoccupied with apartment shopping as well as hosting my long-distance partner :)

I can say for sure all your gifts would be welcomed at the gatherings. Almost every time I give out stuff like that, I receive something of at least equal coolness in return!

    >is it bad I want to eat ur wares?

    >On topic: wearing my favorite brooch today. Followed a tutorial for a beaded flower and got too lazy to make the 5th petal.

I am going to show this to my wife! That is really nice and exactly something she would make.
Your reaction is exactly why I want to make high quality gifts. I want a gift worth keeping, the one people don't want to trade. Or like the ear plugs/earrings a gift that would be worth buying but free. The festivals always allow me to be my best self and the social order also staves off what I would perceive to be obnoxious thusly I make good gifts. I could afford glamping if I didn't rather spending nearly as much on crafting gifts as I do on the tickets.
(have you checked out my thread?>>3011298)
Here is another Line I plan to re-do. Having someone spaz out and give a first time'er an extra gift seems to be universal so with the Gorge in Wa state being such a treck through literal mountains to a desert in the summer is a hell of a pilgrimage.
    >I'm going to go schizo on ya for a moment
There is an increasing likelihood of a pending Indo-Pacific conflict between the US and China, most likely occurring between late 2027 or 2028 to coincide with US political instability. All of this is to say stock up on your crafting goods. I'm not saying the world will end just imagine Amazon is gone with covid era supply chain issues, maybe worse. I have my wifes crafts stocked deep as well as developing my own interests.
    >schizo rant over, sorry.
    >>
I want to do more mushroom charms on silver bracelets but different from this as the silvery beads loose their luster fast. I'm thining likely glass beads as a replacement.
