    Be careful, it attracts ghosts

having dead plants in your home is extremely bad luck
    >>
    >>3007838
    Why?
    >>
    >>3007840
Because it's dead and that deadness spreads in spirit and is infectious. Plants are living things too.
    >>
    >>3007840
Every time you look at your dead plant, it gets inside your subconscious and moves to other parts of your life willingly or not. Think of it as similar to low grade stress. In the same category as clutter but worse.

I had dead lilies on my kitchen table for 3 months and hit the Pick 4. That's what I used to replace my 25 year old AC.

    >>3007845
Hey don't take my word for it. Good for you.
    >>
    >>3007846
Is it a cultural thing? I've never heard of this particular superstition.
    >>
    >>3007847
Yeah rooted in kabalah I think.

Deer skulls are a good one, see this pic of one I found on a camping trip in the boundary waters last week (was tempted to bring it home but it was like 12 portages away from the exit). you can get them on like craiglist or marketplace

    Doesn't get creepier than that.

Large clear jar, Cheap doll, paint, vynil tube, highlighter, syringes. Cut doll up and sew it back together. Paint it to look all fucked up. Put highliter ink in jar with water. Vynil tubes go into doll head from top and act like "thrusters". Syringes are used to push/pull jar fluid to "control" the doll. Think wrigling creature inside some sort of clone pod.

What is the origin and symbolism? What kind of bad shit does it repel? Why don't you see it everywhere?
    >>
    >>3008205
Lmao I would not be messing with that stuff. 2 nails hung upside down on a red piece of yarn screams danger to me. Might as well put a neon sign in your window for any wandering spirits or whatever to check your house out.

its an iron variant of the rowan cross from yorkshire. rowan crosses (or brides crosses) are usually protection against witches and other evil doers.
the iron variant confers the same protections but with iron it keeps away the fae and similar entities. you can also make it with iron and rowan together if you really need the blessed wood
    >>3008217
haven't had any issues with spirits but its not made to stop them specifically

Interesting. What are your thoughts on the Druids? Do you think they were Phoenician, Atlantean, or something else?

a rotting pig's head should do it.
other than visual, the smell should do the job nicely.
put it on a stake on your lawn.
    let it stink.

I can't tell if this is a good troll or a shitty troll but fuck everything I guess.

I want to do this because Christians are such paranoid superstitious children, that are scared of their own shadow.

If you want it to be child-friendly, then picrel is kind of a cute idea. It's scary, but not so scary as to scar them.
If you want to hang it use baloons. You can also make the same with pillows or blankets instead, which gives it more weight. Then you can have it hidden to the side when kids ring the bell for sweets and using a foot you can cause it to fall into the hallway, scaring them. Then you (or even better someone else from out of view) can pull the "corpse" back around the corner where it can't be seen.

If you want it to actually be creepy for adults then you want to go a more subtle route. Show the results of something happening rather than the monster itself. Marks on the floor indicating a fight and or something getting dragged, e,g, a dirt trail with a little fake blood mixed in leading into your garden and there under a bush or into the pond. Everything has to be close enough as to be visible/draw attention, but not close enough as to be investigated. Making a large roughly humanoid (but taller or weirdly proportioned) figure out of some stacked chairs or something in your garden, adding a trashbag on top, then covering it in twigs and vegetation and adding a animal skull for example can work. From the distance it's visible, but you can't get close to get the resolution of seeing what it's made of.
Bonus if you have some sort of "search light" set up that moves across the figure to illuminate it but only for super short so it's hard to tell.
