My plan is to catch squirrels in live traps, dye them blue, and let them go. I want to see how long it takes before it becomes a crisis and makes the news. But idk how to dye them. I imagine they won't be too cooperative.
    >>
They make dyes for dog coats. Or you can use human hair dye
    >>
where i grew up someone used to catch squirrels and shave? or dye CUNT on their backs
    >>
    >>3000318
I'm wondering how to physically apply dye. I don't think it would work to grab em and rub em down with dye. I guess maybe lower them into a pool of dye while in the cage? But I dont want to drown them or anything.

Also, how long does hair dye last? I don't want to have to keep re-applying it. and I bet the squirrels would get wise to the live trap and know what's in store for them.

Well maybe you could powder them with something that stains when it gets wet, right before it rains.

About to boot out a little asshole racoon we saved from certain death the other day. He was laying in the shade of a tree on the road and had obviously been hit by a car or.something. One front paw was mangled and partially degloved. He was extremely dehydrated and lethargic. Brought him home, let him rest for a couple days, got some pain meds in him so he could snap out of his funk and he started eating and drinking again. He is a vicious little shit. His paw is still mangled up some, but he is 100% better than he was and ready to get the fuck out of my garage. I'll give him a light paddlin' for being a little prick and send him on his way down the creek.

If you can get the squirrel in a cage, it may be possible to dunk it into a tub of dye for around a second or so. If it's not retarded, it shouldn't drown, and since it's in a cage you won't get bitten or attacked.

I'm told the hair dye brand Manic Panic would be animal safe and should be easy to use. You could just do a quick couple dips of them into a pool of dye while the squirrels are in a cage, they should be fine just as long as you don't keep them under for more than a moment and do multiple dips rather than long dips.

I’m all for making sure you don’t have rats around your house, but squirrels are perfectly harmless.
Also, if they (or any other animal without access to heavy machinery) can enter your house, your shitty cardboard house is the first problem you gotta fix before you can even start to care about wildlife. >>3000316

I just had an idea - create a squirrel trap with a camera hooked to ai to determine whether it is native or invasive by fur color and kills the invasive ones and lets the native ones go, maybe with a little sound and vibration so they don't come back to the trap
This general concept could be adapted to any invasive population of other animals. Like somalians.

Instead of passive paint brushes covered in paint, use motion sensor activated spray cans to hit them when they're in the "sleeve".

    >>3000809
that one's human activated, you see the string pull tight before it unlatches
    >>
    >>3000805
actually I think this one's human-activated too, you see the camera shake a little at the moment of activation. Yeah the fence shakes from the mass of the device, but the trees shift a pixel or two as well.

Get some gas that will put them to sleep and find youtube tutorials, get the stuff from cosmetics shop.
Id use brushes and rup the paint down to their skin also to avoid painting their eyes and ears in order not to kill or poison them, look for vegan options on hair dye, women are retarded so they probably sell those. The color lasts as long as hair grows, so they wont stay painted for that long.

I have vinyl siding so I have no issues with squirrels. My parents' house has cedar siding, after all of the issues they've had with squirrels and woodpeckers I understand the hatred.

There are many walnut and oak trees on my land, so I leave the squirrels be so that there is less food for the mice mice. There have been no issues with mice in the house, but eventually gave up the war with them for my beater car (New England). I must have killed 100 of those vermin before I gave in. But beavers are the real boss mode rodent, there are too many stupid laws protecting them when they decide time to flood your land and kill all your trees.
    >>
    >>3012186
Beavers are good and evil. We can put chips in their brains and have them terraform remote lands. Then when they die we can collect their anal glands to make synthetic vanilla flavoring.
    >>
    >>3012188

Dumbass, squirrels aren't a problem because they chew through the walls they're a problem because they get into places through vents and tear up wiring and insulation. Or they dig up gardens. Or they fuck with bird feeders. Or they're just chittery little assholes that breed out of control.

Mother fucker, made me look all the way back through my pics for the guy that was on here taxiderming squirrels into various action poses back in maybe 2017? I don't know how long ago, but the best part was that he was using googly eyes for them. I'm thinking he did a whole Alvin and the Chipmunks scene with 4 of them, complete with little microphones and everything. But seriously, you gotta invest in some googly eyes, those were the icing on the cake. Can't fucking find the pics though.
