Thoughts on Futoria?
>>11596061what's that, a factorio lewd mod?
>>11596065No, an original game. With futa. I thought this thread would know more about it.I've played it a bit, so far it seems to be extremely barebones as a game and the content is equally undercooked but at least it's quite original instead of yet another renpy/rpgmaker game. Also dickgirls. It's on itch but I'm gonna link their website just because the dumb domain tickled my funny boneshttps://futoria.sex/
>>11596075This game still feels like a prototype that needs actual proper balancing and content.
>>11596087How much content is there, anyways?I only played to the first bossfight and the queen portal.Beyond that it just seems like clearing the maps (are there more than the forest?) is one hell of a grind. Miles and miles of futa dick. And once you unlock level 20 futa breeding you can just max out every single skill. Seems like the progression systems are already hitting their limits, the dev has designed himself into a corner.
what are some good non-futa games that have actually coercive content? it feels like just about every game i used to enjoy has either become unavailable or has completely stripped out all their noncon content.
>>11596182Rape porn is pretty much nonexistent these days, despite being a relatively common fetish amongst both men and women. Blame payment processors not wanting to deal with it despite what the elites are getting up to in real life.
https://www.color-hex.com/color/676767has meme potential but it’s just a boring gray
>>11596382>A painting-themed d-game where your character starts as boring and gray and you become corrupted by fetishes represented by red, green, and blue values that skew your hue in different directions.
>>11596373>Rape porn is pretty much nonexistent these daysWelcome, timeline traveler. Here in this universe rape porn is extremely common and always has been.
Found this on NextFest and the demo is actually decent, anyone else gonna play it? Gonna check it out in 2 days once it comes out but what other games explore the thrill of exposure and humiliation?
why do some people seem to dislike sexualized combat in japanese eroge? I think it's vastly preferable to games that are just unlocking scene galleries.
>>11596490some people just don't like their scenes to be interrupted with lots of interaction. Also, sexualized combat is often about avoiding to climax, which may not be what people are seeking.
>>11596442It used to be common because it's a relatively common fetish, but there's barely any new stuff being made because payment processors don't want to deal with it.
>>11596553> there's barely any new stuff being madeF95, filtered for games with the rape tag that have updated within the last year. 51 pages is almost more than my personal favourite tag (TF) has gotten over the site's entire lifespan, I can't imagine complaining about a lack of content. And this is just one site mostly focused on western slop, rape is of course still extremely common on DLsite.>because payment processors don't want to deal with it.Fuck credit card companies but porn has existed long before this brief eroge boom and will continue to exist long after regardless of what they do.
>>11596467If it's the one I remember, it looks really good, but it has such a narrow fetish scope along with me not being into that, that I can't say I'm interested.
>>11596467>anyone else gonna play it?I would, but the the demo performed like garbage on my rig. Constant slowdowns. And obviously I'm not going to upgrade my pc just for a smut game.
>>11596568That's out of 280 pages of games over the same update window, 18%. And that's only if you aren't filtering for anything else. With my usual filters applied the difference with and without noncon is a page and change vs sixteen pages. Two years ago it was about a dozen pages; the crackdowns on Patreon and Subscribestar on noncon content have driven many games to be abandoned and fewer new games to be developed.
>>11596661Your only actual point is the abandoned tag which only reduces the number by a single page. Of course 90% of the games are dogshit in one way or another (especially if you're picky enough to filter 2dcg, what kind of autism is that?), but that has always been the case and has fuck all to do with financial bullshit. If there's anything making games shittier now it's AI but even that is kind of misleading since it's mostly just making it very easy for hacks to slop out loads of garbage rather than actually reducing the number of good new projects getting made.
>>11596667>especially if you're picky enough to filter 2dcg, what kind of autism is that? From experience, developers on f95 actually taking the time, effort, or money to make or commission good original graphics to support a game is the exception rather than the rule. 99% of the time it's just random hentai or western art they've scraped off sadpanda or r34 and stuck into their shitty scam game to make it look like something with a higher production value like when old scam tapes used to rip off archival or stock footage.
>>11596672Okay, but if you're filtering both 2d and 3d what else is left? Some text only games and a small handful of mistagged ones? Of course' you're getting slim pickings. Personally I don't filter for anything other than my preferred tag and then when something like DAZ garbage slips though I'll just blacklist it rather than filtering out every single 3dcg game.
>>11596676>if you're filtering both 2dcg and 3dcg what else is left?2d and 3d games
>>11596689doesn't 2dcg mean literally every game that even has a single cg scene
>>11596568Okay but how many of them are actually good?
Every time I play CoC/TiTs I spend my time having my character encounter things that make his cock/balls bigger and more productive without directly going for the items that do it, usually bundling up weakness to lust while doing it to make some sort of breed berserker character making every fight against a female essentially a time trialAny games with a similar theme?
>>11597040Monster girl quest.
TFGS just wiped a whole bunch of AI slop off its catalogue, nice to see. The site was getting borderline unusable with how much garbage was getting posted every week.
>>11597260> Anything created solely using AI will not be allowed here. This includes the likes of Character.AI, POE, ChatGPT, etc.> AI may be used to assist with development, such as Flavor Text and Multimedia.Seems fine. Looks like AI is allowed but not if you oneshot the whole project with it overnight. That will probably have to change in a few years though
Howdy, Imageset Guy here again. I’m the guy who likes making custom combinations from variant imagesets. I’ve written a simple program to more easily assemble custom variants from the pieces that I manually extract, and I've got another work in that vein for you all.And to the anon previously who rewrote my entire code, thanks. I'm not using it this time because I have yet to integrate conditionals into it, but I do intend to use the rewrite in the future, at least in cases in which conditionals are not needed.https://app.mediafire.com/folder/l1dgtfimslm4j
Debasing Grounds got an UI update! The common interface now shows scaled down standing paperdolls instead of full size face portraits. The main text screen was shrunk. Minimap got moved to the right sidebar.Kinda weird since you could already see the standing paperdolls in various character menus, but now the bigger portraits are nowhere to be seen.IMO this visual change just made it more obvious that the UI should have two modes, one for one-on-one scenes like talking with someone, use the portraits for that. And another mode when a mob is present but you're not engaged with anyone, the more distant standing paperdolls would be good for that.
>>11596096I didn't get any further than you, but as you're staying most of the content beyond the initial part just seemed like generic filler of stuff you've already seen.
Finally played pic related since It was getting near Halloween. I'd heard a lot of praise for the game before but had always put off playing it because the title led me to think it'd be some guro thing and I'm super squeamish about that stuff but it really isn't like that at all. There is one dismemberment scene but it's not very graphic and not part of the sexualised content. In general the "horror" aspect is more like what you'd expect out of like, a children's Halloween movie rather than anything very tense or graphic (other than the hentai, obviously). There spooky vibes and a few darker moments but also a lot of comedy in between. The story is interesting and the characters are very likeable, the game itself is mostly an exploration/puzzle game with the occasional chase sequences and very simplified RPG combat, no grinding./d/ content is good and covers a lot of fetishes, each of the main girls has 10+ scenes so there's quite a bit. Unavoidable futa and lolibaba content if those are issues for you though.Overall I really enjoyed the game and definitely recommend downloading it for anyone who wants some Halloween eroge to play. Took me about 12 hours to get to the true "M" ending.
I think there's some kinda retardation barrier in my mind that just can't move past people having other preferences in porn than me, it will genuinely never not irk me when I perceive people as being "wrong" about things in how they design or prefer eroge, I don't have this lack of theory of mind in any other media or social interactions, but I just can't get over it with lewds.
I'm really digging the changes to f95 reviews and versioningHopefully tags are next on the chopping block
>>11597632Welcome aboard. If you liked TMHS, maybe check out the sequel: Sakura Gozen. Tbh, and if I may give my opinion, it's not as good as TMHS, and even the dev explained why, but it's still has the same vibe and comedy.Similarly, a part 3 is currently in the works.
>>11597748If you were to accept that other people's preferences were acceptable, does it feel like your very soul, that which makes you you, would be attacked or threatened in some way? That if every time someone gives an opinion that is opposite to yours, you have to state your own 'cause if you don't it feels like you're willingly letting something bad happen unopposed? That you must give your own contrary opinion as if you were saving others or preventing some darkness from spreading? That's kinda how it is for me.
>>11597748You WILL enjoy your daz3d renpy slop v0.0.2
Do you guys know of any games where you're incentivized to "win" either the combat sections or some mini-games? I feel like the standard in h-games seems to be "you lose = your character gets fucked/taken advantage of," and I want to play something completely different. If you do good/play well, you get rewarded with different scenes, or if you, for example, beat the entire game without getting dicked down, you get a special ending or something like that. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
>>11597902In Lilith's Throne, when you win a fight, you can choose to fuck the loser.
Hey, I know this is probably an unpopular game but I just tried Into the Dragonlords Lair and really liked it. I adore Bad Ends, especially ones where your character become mindless, edged into insanity or become "pets". Now, I enjoy many art styles but I don't necessarily need pictures to enjoy myself (I played CoC way back in like 2013 and loved finding bad ends).Anyone got recommendations? I've tried both CoC2 and TiTS and honestly they're mid at best. Degrees of Lewdity is kinda nice but it's soooo damned huge and kinda too bleak for me.
>>11597902what people overlook is that in most "lose = scene" games, if you don't win, you don't get access to new content, so you're already heavily incentivized to winso it's usually about whether or not the player is dominant or not rather than the game structureI'm planning to have an alternative ending for a no-loss run but I've gotta finish the damn game firstI'd suggest some japanese games but I can't remember their damn names either. I'd say 50% of futa main character games are like that though
>>11597915Tales of androgyny has some. Most ppl would consider them content bloat but they might be what you’re looking for
>>11597938Hmm, sounds like it's worth a try. I think I know of it, it's with art by Majalis right?
>>11597902Now that you mention it, I can't think of a single game like this...At least not any femMC games.
>>11597942I think so
Speaking of stupid shit H-game devs might do>twine game>one time event cheevos>said cheevos were previously useless fluff>now they unlock stuff thats necessary to play>unlocked cheevos arent included in twine save files>they are only saved in browser session storageWho in their right mind would think this is a good idea? Can't quite continue playing old saves normally after upgrading the game. Can't even copypaste the session storage gamestate object data over because it's just compressed binary vomit. So you have to reverse engineer the game just enough to debug this shit and it's not gonna be a matter of flipping some bog-standard sugarcube state variables from what I've seen.
>Queen of the Seas on TFGS just started getting updates again from the dev after over 6 years of abandonmentwas not expecting that one
>>11597929The problem is that while winning unlocks access to new content, you still generally only get the content by losing - it turns most games following this pattern into a fucking grind where you keep doing just well enough to get to new content and then deliberately losing to actually see it. Some of the platformers that do this, for example, will only take an hour to beat if you win every encounter, but can take five or six times that to go through and actually unlock and view the content by losing, and you spend 95% of that time just replaying the same shit you've played thirty or forty times. It's a good model for forcing higher play time, but it's a bad model for player satisfaction.
>>11598114How would monster girl quest’s story have worked if you had to canon lose to everyone? It’s a natural consequence of making video games. Maybe a “losing is fun” model like dwarf fortress could work, where failure is inevitable, but that probably won’t work for most things with plot
>>11598119The 'lose to lewd' model works fine as long as losing a fight is presented mechanically as a minor inconvenience rather than substantially impeding or undoing your progress. A roguelike where losing is an inherent part of the game and your character is meant to be disposable or a platformer where 'losing' just makes you replay from a recent checkpoint - that's all fine and dandy - but games where losing straight up starts you over from the beginning of the game or lock you out of certain progressions or endings are goddamned bullshit.
>>11597994They use session storage cause then its "persistent" even on new saves, and probably mainly because when you look up the SC documentation the sections on the metadata store use achievements as the examples and people just ctrl+f then copy verbatim. If you open the game and find whatever widget they're using to manage cheevos, the storage object is probably public (and probably just in `setup`) and you can invoke whatever functions it uses straight from the browser console.
>>11597994Speaking of stupid shit H-game devs might do>twine game
Digging through the code is half the fun!
>>11598305Many such cases!
>>11598308I've basically memorized the path of sugarcube.state.active.variables by heart.
>>11598308I did this a lot on Karryn's Prison. Enough of that hidden stuff.
>>11598310Clearly not well enough since its `SugarCube.State.variables` and you don't need to direct access State.active.
>>11598313I wrote my own modding framework and some simple-ish mods for KP too. The biggest one I made being something called Anarchy Mode, which gives the prisoners a X / requiredDesire chance to always initiate a sex attack. And because I like virgin buttsluts I made an option to have pussy desires still work normally with required desire levels. Also removed the top desire combat maluses to compensate for the increased sex attacks. It was pretty fun to play, though I've never released my mod stuff because the only way to tweak the options is to edit the mod code and I couldn't be arsed to build a real mod options menu for my modding framework.
>>11598321That's pretty cool though I never went as far as modding.I studied the code to learn the game better. There's stuff that's not explained like how some enemies will never target some places (Rouges never target the vagina iirc barring the free-for-all moments), that there's a move that has a greater effect if you have Karryn's voice turned on (picrel), that charm damage is capped at 20% of enemy pleasure, and stuff like that.
>>11598114>>11598130That's why I ultimately decided roguelikes are a pretty bad idea. It can work, but even with metaprogression you're kinda just losing to the first enemies then grinding to lose to the second enemies then accelerated grinding to the next etc tecwhereas an RPGmaker game you can just save before every fight to see the loss. MGQ and other VNs especially ren'py you make regular saves to see all routes. It's really a problem of how the game is structured more than the loss = content itself.
>>11597902In Hard Stuck sex is either initiated by the player to stun an enemy or is a soft-failure state for being in heat wasting your sex meter eventually leading to a game over.
>>11597877I don't know if I can empathize 100% but yes about the darkness spreading part.
>>11597878why the fuck do people use daz3d anyway it's literally just way uglier than any possible alternative
>>11598578Normies who have bad taste and think the word “taboo” is a big deal
>>11597909Why would topping be considered a reward?
>>11598602I figured it just meant you're not skipping all the sex scenes by doing well.
Any games with extensive focus on tentacle content? Surely one exists with how prevalent the fetish is.
>>11596467Grabbed the full version on f95. It's very well done for a vibe-coded project. The progression annoyed me a bit, especially since mechanics that seem pretty central are locked behind doing the whole list of "story" objectives. It's annoying that it emphasizes maximizing distance so much, since the MC is slow as fuck and there's already a score system with rotating objectives that encourage actually interfacing with the game's mechanics. It does, after a while of playing, kind of feel like a software for making and posing characters that had a game slapped on top of it. I was a little disappointed to see how many of the loading screen stills were just elaborately staged scenes and not really indicative of interactions that happen in the game.
>>11598653Idk about extensive, but Luna's game has a decent amount of tentacle focus. Fairly short game with no difficultly nor any serious penalties. Pretty much running though a trap dungeon solo.
>>11598578>any possible alternativeSuch as? afaik daz completely cornered the coomer 3d render market
>>11598991Such as plain text or pngs because they look better than uncanny valley 3d
it’s like SOTN vs og ff7
>>11598993Apples and oranges. For 3D prerenders there aren't many alternatives. Occasionally you see some madman using Koikatsu. Maybe SFM or VAM for videos.
The apples are rotten and the oranges are tasty. Use oranges
>>11598991>>11598996even koikatsu is heavily preferable. or just download some coomer skyrim mods and costumes and model them in-game if you must have it be "realism". but frankly the apples and oranges thing only works because both fruits are edible, apples and dogpoop is a pretty easy choice even if they are hard to compare.
>>11599022>>11598996Koikatsu studio can be really nice if it's used to make character sprites instead of just screenshotting full 3D scenes with default lighting, shaders and all.See The Fixer for an example.Assets made by posing 3D models aren't necessarily bad. The problem isn't the technology itself, but the tasteless shmucks using it with the intent of cutting corners or simply because it's the only thing they can do. Starting to sound awfully familiar... 3D slop, AI slop...
>>11599030they all look the same though, the faces always look like these weird clay creatures in pain, doesn't matter how premium the game is.
>>11598114I was thinking up a game where getting those kinds of defeat screens was actually how you succeed at the game. Maybe you're trying to research monster breeding habits or something, and the main objective is to get fucked by each one. Instead of every one being just "lose to them in combat", you would actually have to figure out how to get them aroused through in-game clues or some trial and error. Perhaps one enemy will call for reinforcements, and you have to let them gather until they gang-bang you. Or another species you would have to let a female tackle you in combat, then the males will smell it and try to breed you. Or maybe a species wouldn't get aroused unless they smell that you're really aroused, things like that.
>>11599046I read a doujin like that. Woman medieval knight who fucked monsters to collect their cum for research
>>11598114not a problem with combat rape btw.
>>11599046There are two JP games from the same dev (Mutation and Repetition) that do this all the way down to the protag having a diary of how she felt during each instance, but squander it on "machine creator bad" and "church bad".Realistically you will never see anyone do anything with this concept, even though it's exactly the sort of thing that allows for an infinite content slop treadmill via new creatures that don't progress the overarching plot (due to not having one).
>>11599051Except no one makes games for doms.
>>11599142There are plenty, they're just generally boring and vanilla because having /d/ tier fetishes is largely a submissive or a least switch phenomenon.
>>11599046>you would actually have to figure out how to get them aroused through in-game clues or some trial and error.Literally had the same though. Great minds.>>11599050There's also that one doujin with the sage girl that used magic to make her body resistant so she can go breed with all kinds of wild monsters.>>11599065>that do this all the way down to the protag having a diary of how she felt during each instanceReminds me of how in Kirsten's game she logs her thoughts on all her pregnancies/births.
>>11599022>just download some coomer skyrim mods and costumes and model them in-gameWorse outcome than daz3d gobbos for 100 times the effort.tesv.exe is not exactly a 3d studio.
>>11599036Graphics made in Koikatsu studio or Daz studio look the same?Really nigga?
It seems 3D is another topic that mindbreaks /dgg/
daz provides realistic-ish male and female bodies you can customize with sliders and has by far the largest library of clothes i've seen.I have never enjoyed a daz game and those horrid goblins people give me nightmares, but clearly there are people who eat that shit up and are even willing to spend their hard earned money on such games.I don't think skyrim has a decent selection of modern casual clothes, or really anything that isn't from its own setting, or very explicitly for porn, and the 8475th ren'py game about dating your "landlady" and your "landlady's daughter" absolutely needs modern clothes for immersion and the dev can absolutely not make those themselves or at least check they fit the maxed out booba and ass slider body they chose to make.it's so good on paper if you have a project manager's mindset and no creative skills to speak of.koikatsu is technically in a similar boat, and most games with koikatsu cgs are trash, sometimes the devs even have the gall to just download someone else's card for their own project instead of wiggling a slider.but at least the faces look okay-ish, even if the default skull shape (chika face) is of interest to phrenologists, and let's be real here: the devs who use these to make their game's cgs are going to use the default skull shape.
>>11599212what? no. I'm responding to someone saying " The problem isn't the technology itself, but the tasteless shmucks using it with the intent of cutting corners or simply because it's the only thing they can do." if the problem was user error why would daz3d always look the same across projects of different quality levels?
