Variant cover by Thomas ThesenSeems that pre-release versions of this and issue #7 have the Magical Girls warning for spoiler reasons.
>>156115735Well that wasn't necessary.
>>156115776>I am doing this for my partner's wife and child>Was involved in death of another Detective with a son>Tortured the DA's daughter on flimsy groundsTico deserved it
>Can talk with a hole in his chest and his lungs destroyedNever change, comics
This issue is the point the plot is no longer a relatively grounded story of revenge. If that is a good thing or not it's up to you.
I wonder what Iris' reaction was when she learned Tico died since he was her son's partner who was taking care of her daughter-in-law and her granddaughter.
I know Addison was acting in the heat of the moment but if Anthony trained her to avoid getting caught by the police while on her killing spree wouldn't that mean he taught her to at least put her phone on vibrating mode when doing vigilante work? She didn't know Tico knew about her ringtone, but she knows that Jessica does know about that ringtone.

Issue #7: The Devil you know>Trouble begins brewing for the untouchable Irene Trent when a fire at her pharmaceutical warehouse reveals several dead bodies and tragic clues regarding the fate of the D.A's missing daughter. Meanwhile, Addison returns home and must face the consequences of her actions.
Variant cover by James StanleyI guess someone on Action Lab wanted Addison to look more like an Anime Girl when making this cover
And here we get introduced to the last major heroic character in the story.
I know that the final issue implies Addison used reality time-warping powers or something to save Jessica but if that was not the case who was in the car if she sent a heavily injured and shaved Jessica to the hospital?

That second panel is one of my favorites
Cute Cherry Cherry
I genuinely think what happened to Paolo and Nick is one of the most (relatively speaking) nightmarish things that could happen to anyone, a home invasion by a bunch of corrupt cops, some of who you probably know personally that will kill you because you know too much, and won't hesitate to kill your loved ones to leave no witnesses of their crimes. That's why corrupt cops are the worst type of criminal
Probably the most iconic panel in the series

And that's the end of Volume 2 (For some reason the version of Volume 1 I had didn't have the back of the trade Paperback). We'll do Volume 3: No Absolution tomorrow for Halloween (and Addison's birthday).>Addison's hunt leads her ever closer to a confrontation with the notorious Irene Trent, and the truth behind her mysterious powers. Fate finally pulls the Brody family back together, but the curse of their bloodline guarantees there are no happily ever afters for monsters. The exciting and epic conclusion to the twelve issue series! Collects issues #9-12 of the hit series.Take care, everyone.
