I got hit in the face with a bat walking home from work a few weeks ago and even after having to go through the rabies immunization I still love bats. Don't fuck around with rabies though.

From how many shots it took I'll say that the one around the site of the bite was the most obnoxious. Didn't hurt so much as it was several injection sites from the immunoglobulin around a small little wound. Almost immediately went to zoo in Illinois with a friend a few weeks later to go look at the bats in their Australia exhibit.
