They often try to get rid of it.Probably because it's annoying, but they know it's not a part of them. This is a controversial opinion, and if there are horsefags nearby they will disagree, but I would GENUINELY say cows>horses.
>>6236019Don't feel bad, rodents are different. They would be literally killing themselves trying to escape if they were unhappy. They appear to be sunbathing there.

I have to clean up half eaten corpses usually twice a month on our business' land. Really cute animals though. Always fun to see them running by with their big fluffy tails.

>>6251286Look into becoming a glider pilot! It's surprisingly cheap, if you join a club (mine was about 30€/month) you can use their planes and you get free lessons.Experienced pilots can easily fly hundreds of km on one start, so it's entirely possible to borrow one of the club's gliders and go for a 2-day trip to another city or something. Also very safe, fatal accidents in gliding are mostly 70+ year olds having a heart attack and their craft just continues to fly for 50-150km without steering before crashing in some field.I had to quit for health reasons, but it's a really fun time.

>>6258470It always bugs me when the wildlife photographers have the ability to do something simple to make a difference for the animals and don't.We're the only sapient and tool-using life we know of in the entire universe, wether or not their is a divine and an intent to aything at all I believe we must have the responsibility to be caretakers for all other life we know of because nothing else has both the awareness and the capacity to intervene in the favour of life.We may or may not have beenb meant to do so, but we CAN do so, and it often doesn't take much effort.

>>6260396It's an unfortunately complex topic. Every now and then is fine, but wildlife photographers are doing this shit 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, for years. The amount of dying animals they will see is huge, maybe even every hour, they can't afford to save everyone and still keep their job. Also this might not have been the case in this situation since it's very remote and isolated, but for example leaving an antelope to die instead of saving it means feeding the lions or hyenas or crocodiles instead. To help the antelope could even mean the death of the predator's children, which means you're favoring one life over another. But I think it's fine if random people like you and me save animals while hiking or swimming or whatever since a couple of odd cases are not enough to affect the balance, it's photographers and researchers who are in a trickier position.
