Have you experienced acute trauma before? If so, what were your experiences? How did you deal with it/seek help?I witnessed the death of a valued coworker recently and it caused me to experience acute trauma. It deeply impacted many other people as well.
>>35056357Seen a few people die up close as well. There's nothing that can be done OP. The dead remain dead, and the truth is people die people get killed, entropy and injustice exists in this world and we have the uncomfortable experience of having to live beside it. And no amount of rumination or crying changes any of it. Accepting this is what gets you through
>>35056698I'm on the road to acceptance. Having therapy for it and have been respected for my part to play. I know that the person who passed on would want everyone to stay engaged with life, so I will do my best in that. I'd like to hear more experiences people have had in this thread so it might shed light on the topic.Thank you.
