Proctrastination and shit's helpin me dig my own my own grave. Can't play tennis with my friends, completely detaching from the curriculum and somehow along with all of this- I'm behind deadlines too. Somehow, one of friends is also pretty smart who seems to know about everything there's to know and I feel I'm fallin behind. Tik Tok's becomin a regular part of my life

Sit with your overactive brain while you are doing your homework.
>>35056006First, stop and take a few deep breaths. Like, learn about box breathing and do that for like, fifteen minutes.First off, I don't know what you expected for college, but...academics are the single most important thing about being there for the typical student. That means when you are aware you have an assignment, you grind it out over however long you have for the assignment, not do it at the last fucking second. It means you can write your essay and papers, get feedback from the professor, and improve it.Hobbies come secondary. You are not entitled to enjoy hobbies in college, you use them as rewards. Study all day? Then do woodworking or lifting in the evening or something like that.>Somehow, one of friends is also pretty smart who seems to know about everything there's to know and I feel I'm fallin behind.OK? If you compare yourself to others you will always find a smarter person, a more athletic person. The only people at the top is the president, the CEO of companies, and Olympic athletes. Accept your mediocrity and be content with it, and you will find yourself in a better position.> detaching from the curriculum and somehow along with all of this- I'm behind deadlines too.Why do you feel like you are detaching? What is your major? What about your major isn't working for you?
