Depends on the job and the people. I quit my job in finance almost 10 years ago now and I still stop by the office to chat. A couple guys have called me and tried to rehire me a few times. There’s an old lady who makes me this really good banana bread on my birthday every year so I still show up on birthdays for that. They (well, some of them. Not everyone in the entire office) check in with me over social media to ask how I’m doing.
