I’ve lost interest in my bf (dating since 2023)Thru no fault of his own. How do I let him down gently saying I’ve fallen out of love?I feel cruel doing it, but feel lying is dishonest. He bought a flat for us and I feel so guilty
Tell him you sucked off his friend
>>35047873why did you lose interest? it's gonna create conflict regardless so it'd help to be rational in what's happened in why you need to move on.
>>35048108That’s the thing I just naturally did, which is what makes it even worse. He did nothing wrong, sounds cringe but the “spark” just died naturally but I still feel so awful But I feel like being dishonest is even worse
A real answer? There is no easy or magical way to do it, just do it. It’ll hurt no matter what. But the sooner it’s over, the sooner everyone moves on.And I mean this, it’s only gonna get worse the longer you wait. (Trust me)Literally texting him “we need to break up” is better than what is happening now.
Don't. Done so. Guy got an existential crises over his lack of worth compared to the other guy. It was kinda funny.
>>35049819you got so excited to larp you didn't even reply right.
>>35047873How do you identify this spark? What is llve supposed to feel like to you?
>>35049829I caught that too. What is nice is it actually shows who the narc larping is and she can judge him for his weasily conniving insecure narc behavior.
>>35047873just speak plainly and make yourself clear. dont let him guilt trip you into staying. it's a shit situation but nothing beats brutal honesty.
What is the point of dating?Your boyfriend did not do anything wrong and just like that it's overI'm not saying this make you feel bad or stay, you should break upbut genuinely what is the point? How do you even get yourself prepared to date again when there's nothing you can do to ensure this doesn't happen again
>>35051019Lol I feel the same way. What’s the point of playing a game where this can happen tomorrow
>>35051033normies are genuinely fucking stupid
>>35047873Sometimes love is about more than a sparkSometimes it is about consistency and a partner showing up and showing supportRealize that no matter who you meet out there the same thing will happen. You will get to know them. There will be no more secrets or surprises. And the "spark" will fade to familiarity.Instead focus on making your life more interesting in the form of hobbies and other shit. The both of you should travel together or do other fun stuff.Don't give up or be a cheater. That's bullshit.
>>35051523Never settle. Choose true love
>>35048693Kys dopamine chaser.
>>35047873>How do I let him down gently saying I’ve fallen out of love?Okay, there are two inescapable facts, here. 1) There isn't any way to "let him down gently"; you will break his heart no matter what you do. 2) Anything you try to do to make it less painful is 100% guaranteed to backfire and make things worse. Once you have accepted those two facts as being facts, you will know what to do.
>>35051019>>35051033>what is the point of living if you just die at the end and there's nothing you can do to prevent it???
>>35047873Couple questions. Have you gone on or off birth control recently? 3 years is a long time, has he discussed marriage or children?
>>35051807>1) There isn't any way to "let him down gently"; you will break his heart no matter what you do.>2) Anything you try to do to make it less painful is 100% guaranteed to backfire and make things worse. There's a third fact, actually: the longer you wait before doing something, the more damage you'll do.>>35047873>I’ve lost interest in my bf (dating since 2023)OP, do you not think your bf deserves better than being with someone who doesn't really love him? How much more of his life are you going to waste? Every moment he's with you is time he could be spending on finding someone who actually does love him. You're being very selfish by *not* ending things right now.
>>35048693>sounds cringe but the “spark” just died naturallyIn essentially all relationships there is an initial "honeymoon period", which usually lasts about two years, during which everything is easy: you're so infatuated that you don't really need to put any work into the relationship. But that feeling ALWAYS fades. So, most likely, no matter who you are with, the "spark" will ALWAYS "die naturally".So, you need to think carefully about this. If you leave your bf and find someone else, that someone will probably give you the feeling of "spark" again; but two years down the line you'll be right back where you are now. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean you you shouldn't leave your bf. What it means is that if you want to be with someone for the rest of your life, you have to choose someone that you will still want to be with even AFTER the "spark" has gone. Perhaps your bf isn't that person. But if you're expecting to be able to feel the "spark" forever, that is not going to happen, no matter who you are with. So ask yourself seriously: out of all the men you could spend your life with and NOT feel a spark with, could you really do better than your bf? If you're sure you could, then leave him. But if not, you might be better off staying.
