Any of you own a business? I launched a business recently and have officially been open 10 days. It's a service based business and I have had about 6 clients so far and made about $600 for about six hours of work. I do repairs. Do you all have any advice for getting the word out? I have Google Ads, but I question how effective they are for a fresh business. I have been giving out business cards left and right and people have seemed really receptive and intrigued as I am in an underserved area. I talked to one dude in the city that is really active with a lot of stuff, and he gave me some ideas on where to drop off some flyers and whatnot. I have at least 6 months of expenses saved for me and the business together, but I obviously don't wanna rely only on that if I can get more clients. Facebook seems useless and mostly bots. Nextdoor seems small. Reddit won't even let me open their ad page as it gives me a 403 error.>tl;dr How grow new business?
You have to post in local facebook groups.Craigslist. Pieces of paper with your name, contact info and what you do on random poles. We need to know what kind of job you do to give you more ideas.
You also definitely got to set up a booth at local farmer's markets or festivals too.
>>35047862>I do repairs.then you're local and word of mouth will be far more effective than google adsgo around local businesses, kiosks and shiet and ask if you can leave your business cards/flyers there. Hardware and furniture stores would be the best for your kind of businessconsider some sort of discount for first time clients like 10% off
>>35049319Also NextDoor, which is 90% local ads.Facebook groups for local areas are less permissive of ads.
how do i do op question but my product is drugs?
