Throughout my life I had undiagnosed adhd and mild autism, had a few friends until I moved into a new area for middle and high school. I was a weirdo, I preferred being alone and never bothered trying to fit in. So I never really developed social skills or how to connect with others.I am in my third year of college and I still don't have any people I can call friends. I joined clubs, had roommates, I was friendly with them and exchanged numbers, but that was it. After we parted ways we never talked again, even when I reached out, it was clear it was one sided. Every interaction I have with people is just dull politeness, "Hi, how's it going" or worse, it feels like i'm just the guy you like to hang around when you have nothing to do or just an tagalong who's there. Is it too late for me? How can I form an real connection without feeling annoying?
Older autismo here. The friendships I still have all started in highschool, except for one in uni (we bonded over an adventure so I can't replicate that). Since then nothing has stuck.I got close a few times by being an open book while making sure not to overshare, but in the end I always get "found out". I don't try anymore. I don't have advice but am monitoring the thread.
It's because you faggots refuse to drink.
>>35046223Not op but I drink every weekend, sometimes more. Doesn't change the fact I put people off by acting like a sperg
>>35046084Bruh you are still in school! Make the last year count!!! Dont regret it!!! What's your major? What do you love about it? Talk about what you love with people, surely, someone will understand you.
