I have been rather reclusive during these past years due to a lot reasons, I’ve always been introverted and grew up on here and a variety of sights and as expected 4chan isn’t really the best place for a adolescent to develop. I was able to mitigate a lot of the autism damage I received on here by socializing during my later years of high school but now that I’ve found myself in isolated environment I’m lured into more online usage. In spaces like X which is basically /pol/ 2.0 and 4chan is honestly not the best for mental.

Gonna be frank with you, this is probably the last good place to post.- Facebook: full of boomers who dont know shit, AI slop, you dont even get groups you are subscribed to on your feed and if you scroll long enough you just get suggested asian porn or jav codes.- Reddit: America and the Orange Man bad, every subreddit is infested with trannies, gays and karma farming, hot takes get downvoted to hell. They think they are the majority of the average person, when in reality they arent. The porn is of better quality than over here and with craiglist personals gone its one of the few places with anonymous hook-ups.- Twitter: street fights and public freak outs are entertaining.- instagram: paranoid girlfriend the app “why did you like this picture of my friend?” Aint catching me using that app- Discord: probably the only good place if you find a community.- Telegram: I miss cheating on my wife- Youtube: what even is there? That place has turned into a battlefield of gossip nobody cares about “did you hear Gumgum was cancelled because he didnt come out agaisnt a comment made by Hitler69x67 on a group chat made by Madmaddie of glumpglop?”Everything sucks
>>35045130>America and the Orange Man badThis is objectively true MAGAtard. Go back to facebook angry boomer.
>>35045287Cry some more of that impotent rage pajeet. Maga won.
>>35045287>>35045315You're both pathetic.
>>35044379It's probably better to ditch the internet in its entirety.
>>35044379These places didn't fuck you up, you didn't have shit going on in your life in the formative years and filled your time up on them. Get busy sonny pull up your bootstraps stop eating avacado toast and do something! Take a yoga class and ask a woman out.
>>35044379You need to occupy the time you spend on the internet with other things. If you just focus on stopping the activity without a replacement for it in mind, you’re just going to keep coming back here. Most of us are in the same boat. You’re not going to find what you’re looking for anywhere on the internet. You need to go outside.
>>35044379Just gotta find stuff to do. Was in the same boat and began volunteering for my local church, found community, other places through that, hobbies and friends.>I’ve found myself in isolated environment I’m lured into more online usage. Wdym? Isolated like living in the sticks or what?>>35045569This, gotta replace it.
>>350451304chan’s sense of humor is really the only thing worth being here for, I will admit that anons have wit that is rare in the broader online space but this place can very redundant and time consuming (for me)>>35045546I like reading articles and playing wordle thoughbeit >>35045569I read, that is really my only hobby. When I had a decent social life I felt less of need to be as chronically online but I’ve lost the friend group I’ve had and I feel that I’ve become socially stunted>>35045578I’m just a write/blog fag ignore all my mumbo jumbo. Church volunteering sounds like a good idea they’re a few good churches near me.
>>35045552I have lost a lot elasticity so yoga would help. How do I ask friends from high school if for brunch date? it’d feel too beggy/akward
If we knew the answer, would we be here to answer?
>>35045657True enough, true enough
>>35044379I think it might not be possible for the moment to quit 4chan. I mean, it might be desirable in theory, but under current conditions you might be wasting time on here for the next couple years whether you like it or not.
>>35046266I hope not it’s not doing well for me twitter is even worse
>>35045643>4chan’s sense of humor is really the only thing worth being here forOnly this place feels like it's been lacking in that department for a while, lately the humor here feels indistinguishable from twitter.
>>35046459I understand, but objectively you cannot and will not quit something until there is a replacement for that thing. And currently, there is no replacement for 4chan either online or IRL.
>>35044379there’s nothing wrong with 4chan if you only come here for like a hour or two a day. Anything more and you need help. You need to delete twitter though, and any other meta platforms such as instagram.
>>35048883Twitter (X) isn’t meta, I’m trippin but yah. Delete it.
