>be me 19 unmedicated adhd>hire guy to tint my moms car>talk to him while he does it I sell him on a website>pays me for website and then tells me he’s opening up a shop soon>finally texts me about shop>verbally tells me I’ll be in training nothing in writing>spend hours doing free labor setting up the shop>starts “training” me which basically just means watch me>work 9-5 6 days a week no real breaks but I did slack off a lot when there were no cars to tint>do admin work and fix his square, post on Instagram, film videos, edit google my business>another guy pays him for tint school>after day 1 he tells me we need to “slow” him down because he’s already getting the concept>update the website as a “gift” for my training making it way better but regret it now>I tinted actual customers cars however when I messed up he wouldn’t tell me exactly how to fix it>says I dont focus, I tell him I literally cannot my brain doesn’t work that way could be cope>I get heated and leaveTLDR; work for a guy for 20 days straight, one week with no day off at all, sometimes 12 hours a day, some of it is on me but I feel unfairly compensated, what to do now file with labor commission ? Or is this just my fault and I need to grow up and move on with my life
Waste of time. Will this guy bullshit for you as a reference for your next job at least?
>>35041938I have no idea it got heated today and he always just tries deflecting when I bring up money, but in this line of work I need a minimum of 6 months of experience to get another job.
>>35041943You should have agreed with him beforehand to have him bs stories of your 6months exp so you can use that as a reference
