So right now I am an 18 yr old transwoman who is in shared living. I met my (not legally) adopted daughter in the psych ward a while ago, and she's 15 as of now. I have been her mother for quite some time and I have tried taking her as my own but each time ive risked a felony charge (florida) for harboring a runaway. I keep losing her and she's suffering in the system with group homes and foster cares and whatnot. Her case managers know me and so do the police, and try and limit contact. We both suffer from DID and several other disorders but that's besides the point. The only idea we have that would possibly work is moving out of state / country so the police aren't on me, but it'd be very difficult considering I barely work over min wage and we're poor. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Or, anybody for that matter who'd be willing to help us get out would be great. We've been through hell the last year and I'm tired of seeing my baby hurt.
