Why do I have to be a perfect employee for my autism to not matter in the workplace? MY job found out I have autism a couple months ago, I lied on my application and said I didn't have a disability. I don't disclose that because I found that I get more job interviews. Well, ever since then, every action is under scrutiny. I have been asked to log every task, something no other employee is expected to do. My performance didn't change, but they act like it did...and the change was overnight. Today, they put me on a PIP due to my log being incomplete.
>>35040582This sounds illegal. They aren't really allowed to treat people differently based on stuff like this, you can probably sue. Your best bet is to log everything that has happened and what they say and do that's different to you and talk to a lawyer soon.
>>35040596Yea, they are just trying to push me out, get me to quit so that I don't get unemployment. Eventually they'll fire me for bad performance. Seen it before.
