Hello everyone. I'm planning a trip to Mexico City. Have any of you ever been there? I'm visiting for my college eventually. I'm not sure how "guided" the trip will be, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations or anything. I'm curious about the food, libraries, museums, botanical gardens, and music scene. I hope we'll get to see some Aztec ruins as well. I haven't done much research on Mexico City yet. I guess it would make sense to get some books from the library and see what resonates myself. I just know it will look good on my resume. I need to go above and beyond. It's part of actualizing my dream to become a linguist and a great writer! Anyways, I will probably invest in a burner phone and leave my actual phone at home for this adventure. I don't want my "real" phone to get stolen while I am away. Does anyone have a suggestion of a decent device I can invest in? One that's sturdy, but won't break the bank? I also am on methadone and use a CPAP machine. I don't know what traveling with that crap is going to look like. Seems like a hassle. lol

So far your writing sucks. Work on your English first. Any cheap phone will work, check that its compatible with the country. Make a plan of why you're bothering with the country and go from there. Anyone can suggest typical tourist shit but its better if you cater to your interests.

I agree with you. I only recently got back into college. I have a lot to work on. I'm really rusty at a lot of things. I'm over 6 years into recovery, but I am still healing from trauma and bad decisions. My brain feels less rotted than it used to but I can tell there's still massive room for improvement. I appreciate your honesty. I will run a search on how to make sure whatever I get works with a Mexican SIM card! Thank you. :)

Drink the water, fuck the local women, and buy drugs from street vendors

sew a few hundred dollars cash into the inside of your pants in a fake pocket, so you have a way to get home when you inevitably get robbed and/or burgled and all your possessions are taken away
