>be me>meet this guy my freshman year of college>he's two years older than me>we become great friends>hang out occasionally, play vidya, etc etc>eventually he's find out he's redpilled/chud despite being 6'5>catches me by total surprise but it's cool, we can talk about niche internet drama>we send each other dumb political content we find on xitter>ffw 2 years and he graduates>his life slowly goes to shit as he tries to make it in a new city>his family lives far away and I'm basically the only guy he knows, so we end up hanging out even more>he eventually gets laid off, among other things, has family drama going on too>after a while he's had enough and says he needs to reset, tells me he's going to delete social media, change his phone number>says he's going to move out west, join the military, restart his life>fast forward another year, present day>now I'm graduated and lonely, just like he was two years ago.>wish I had my buddy to talk to again, now that I understand what it's like>no longer have any irl friends I can chud out and discuss niche internet drama with>have tried and failed to find him many times>i have no way of contacting him, have not heard from him for over a year at this point, pretty sure he even ghosted his familyIt makes me sad I guess. I still have other close friends, but I feel like whenever I discuss politics with anyone I have to give a sanitized, filtered version of what I really want to say. I don't have anyone I can share my true political opinions with anymore.I wonder if he'll contact me again someday. I'm sure we'll meet again...
Never stay quiet about your opinions and say what everyone else is. That's just being a sheep and conforming to what they think.Where's your sense of individuality? And so your bff ghosted you, so what? Better to have known a good friend for a while than be surrounded by a bunch of phony sheeple Move on, fix your life, maybe join the military like him and see where he wound up? Or forge your own path in life
