22 year old incel. I attend societies at my university, but what can I do beyond this? I am not really socially anxious and go to the gym, skincare etc. My main difficulty is that I do not drink or take any drugs and do not have any social media. Where can I go/what should I do? Bars? Clubs? Concerts? How does one meet people at these places solo?
Give specific, useful advice that has actually worked for you please!

Shopping centers/malls/restaurants.

make friends/more friends and try dating withing your social circle? a lot of "lowkey" women actually like when a guy doesn't use social media. and it's rare in men. concert is also good, but socializing with strangers at a concert only really works if you come with a group.

Go to events where people are in exploratory mode. I specifically like food festivals.

Many possible low risk openers such as “Had anything tasty already?” or “I’m torn between the chicken and the beef wok. What do you think?” It might sound silly to you but it’s easier than most other things I tried. And if you’re unsuccessful, at least you had a nice meal.

It's over as soon as you turn 18 and leave the school system without a well established social circle. You go to work, but you won't make any friends, just coworkers. You join a sports club, same deal. It's over, because everyone already has their social circles locked in since childhood. You'll be nothing more than a coworker, destined to be alone for life. Social life and relationships are like trains you have to catch at the quay, a race against time that takes place during adolescence. And by extension, logically of course, no social life and no women.
But normies don't understand this because they are clueless normies who think you can walk into a bar full of strangers and magically form a social life like in The Sims. Only women can start from scratch and create a social life and get a boyfriend from scratch because of their status as women.

Whether you're 22 or 42 it doesn't change anything, maybe for the normies, but for you and me Chud, a year is like any other, the sands of time flowing towards nothingness, nothing more.. nothing less.

What I don't get with this advice is why there's never a personal anecdote of success attached. Like, "I went to a food festival, struck up a conversation with this girl, and she's my fiancee of 3 years now". It's always just generic advice with no personal anecdote. "It might sound silly to you but it's easier than most other things I tried". So what did it lead to? Easier to do, maybe, but did you actually get results?

for everyone as autistic as this retard, I recommend Dale Carnegie's "How to make friends and influence people"
>>
>>35037704
I'm just asking him to expand on what actually happened retard. I hate advice without a detailed personal experience. How did the food festival actually go for him. Did he get a gf or was it a waste of time.

>Dale Carnegie's "How to make friends and influence people"
Genuinely commit suicide you fucking normnigger

>Go to events where people are in exploratory mode.
Excellent way to get stuck with a fat asperger, which you won't realize for a while because you're lonely to begin with. I don't have better advice but you might get latched on by the bottom of the barrel women at these

Not him I'm actually this guy >>35037711 and he was replying to me. But it's a good book, I've read it. Why? Which one would you recommend instead?

>for everyone as autistic as this retard
He's right though, no joke I think it's a good start for real autistic retards

Baseless nonsense
>>35037638
I agree. I am only interested in what has actually worked, not what sounds good.

OK. You want examples?

- I like old (1930s-1940s) movies. Go to a showing. In line, chat with people around me. (Have you seen this?/No but I liked his others/My favorite is...) See movies, meet again as we come out. (That was great/If you like this you should see...) Stop for coffee. Make new friends, one of whom is an unattached girl. Exhange numbers. Call her to suggest we go see another classic next week.....

Mine: desperate for friends I take a Beginners Cooking Class at a community college. Mix of genders and ages. All terrible cooks. Have fun laughing at ourselves as we screw up classroom attempts. Start to hang out after class. Form the Tuesday Poisoners Club, meeting at each other's homes with a different host/cook each time. Celebrate successes, laúgh together at flops. Make good friends and one girlfriend.

at risk of doxxing myself i'm going to tell you how my october went. Maybe you can glean something from it but I drink and smoke cigs socially. Cigs unironically make people think I'm cooler and give all kinds of buffs. I'm deep into the local music scene so I know about all the events that come up. I'm in late 30s
>Weekend 1
>Went to a future funk show solo
>Chatted up a bunch of people, danced and had a good time. Clocked the lolita inspired fashion on a cutie and talked to them about fashion, my fav tamagotchi (they had a bag) and ended up giving them a ride home. Nice conversation on the drive. Befriended DJ and some other people.
>Weekend 2
>Went to a cosplay carnival rave that the DJ buddy was playing at
>Did my carnival makeup. Lit up a girl's cig and talked to them for a long time before their friend pulled me away. No contact info exchanged, don't care. We're both going to the next con and I might run into them. At the end of the night I hear this cosplay cutie (23) say something about cults. I force myself into the conversation namedropping members of the cult and events along with my thoughts. Cutie's uber arrives within 30 seconds but we exchange contact
>In the following week me & cutie talk a lot, they become my new drinking buddy, we hang out a lot but don't get too sexual, just flirty
>Weekend 3
>Did my goth makeup and went to a goth show cutie was going to meet me at. Made a new bro but he didn't stick around because he saw I was with cutie and didn't want to interrupt. Just a nice night out dancing with cutie
>Still hanging out with cutie during the week
>Weekend 4
>Planned to go to a local idol show with cutie. They came by early to hang out. Was late to the show because we fucked for 3 hours. A new friend made at show
>FWB situation entered with cutie since we don't want to date each other but like being together. We drink beer, watch anime, play games and have lots of raw sex.

More stuff happened the next weekend but im at limit.

How would you rate your looks? Above 5'8? Lean?
I am pretty decent looking/not short. Could stand to be leaner.
Perhaps music scene is the right move. How does one find out about events etc?
>>

>How would you rate your looks?
inoffensive family friendly look. In my 20s I did a little bit of modeling for ads like for vacations, golf and generic college student for the local college. Never had the look to be the center of focus. The only dating app I ever used was Boo which is some dogshit tiny app and I had 0 success on there.
>Above 5'8?
Barely 5''7
> Lean?
Yes. Occasionally muscular when I stick to my routine.
>How does one find out about events etc?
IG & knowing bartenders, band members, etc.

at a guess, most people, both here and in general, didn't internalize the idea that you shouldn't give advice that you didn't actually test yourself
it's a big part of why even well-meaning advice is often not that useful
