Parkour as a cultural movement started out as an urban, international, and multi-racial phenomenon appealing mostly to young people. Trespassing (violating property rights) and running from authorities are often trivialized or celebrated. Freerunning, which can get more social media attention from normies, rejects orthodoxy as the interpretive dance version of traditional parkour. Any conservative or traditionalist traceur I've personally known has been a more old school A-to-B "le parcours" athlete with prepper (in the loosest sense of the term), military, or emergency service motivations rather than some urban art kid making freerunning videos.
