Its happening right now. We are summoning the demon via AI. They are building data centers everywhere for it. The world isnt going to just blow up terminator style but humans will be gradually phased out. Mostly just because we are the type of animal who does not want to breed in captivity. And because our continued existence is pointless and the system wont need us anymore. Some subset of humans might survive indefinitately as pets of the system but I would argue you wont be able to call them homo sapiens anymore after a very short amount of time, evolutionarily speaking.
