They may do some form of “cutaneous respiration”, so wearing clothing or a suit might even cause asphyxiation, or be the equivalent of wearing a full body diaper. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were some kind of organic machine, or otherwise “lab grown” instead of born through biological/sexual reproduction, which would explain why they don’t appear to have genitalia, and probably don’t have any social taboos surrounding nudity.
